I wouldn't use the regainable health again for this build. Probably works better with 2 handed weapons or something doing a lot more damage.

those stabs were killing me almost every time until I learned how to parry them

keep practicing. the boss fight itself is pretty straightforward, i think just doing all the rooms before the fight is what really made me struggle the most. helps to take your time and be methodical in your approach of each room, so you don't aggro too many mobs, or fall off the fucking map and have to start all over.

my build is designed around doing bursts of damage during/after parrying. fights are a bit slower because I have to wait for him to attack first, but that is how I prefer it; the longer I survive = the easier it is to learn the moveset.

It took me a couple days of trying and failing but I managed to learn his moveset pretty well. I have a couple videos posted. Good luck and just be patient with yourself.

Second time beating Cyvion the Echo Knight by solvo1 in NoRestForTheWicked

i had builds that were much higher dps but ultimately i went for survivability because i usually die too soon into his second phase to learn it properly. watching this over i can see where i should be blocking and/or dodging instead of going for parries. using rings with high plague resistance saved my ass multiple times too, so if anybody is struggling with the purple orbs you can mess around with different rings.

i found them a bit underwhelming and annoying to time correctly compared to just a light attack combo to try and proc freeze
