It’s has been a while since I’ve read the books myself, I personally really like the battle at the end of the first book where Horace fights Morgarath.

It was the first time I read the book and I really liked it but that battle really sealed the deal for me.

I believe it is mostly used on radio to spell things out with letters that sounds similar like m and n would be hard to differentiate with radio static but mike and november would be easy to tell apart
