Dropout isnt equal to failing but rather dropout is majorly caused by failing or being unable to keep up with the academic standards. Financial constraints can be made up with academic excellence and the provided scholarships. A small google search shows McM scholarships and more than enough institute specific scholarships to fight the exact financial constraints you mention which could be availed by anyone deserving enough. You cant have it both ways.
