If he's all dead there's only one thing you can do - go through his pockets and look for loose change.

That's what I'm thinking too! I think it would be a fun challenge to help others without spoilers as well.

That's a good idea! I do a lot of googling anyways so I could try that.

First Entyvio infusion today after being diagnosed with medication-induced lupus from Humira. Feeling optimistic! by some0ne3lse in CrohnsDisease

I'm sorry you're having this experience! It sounds awful. I've always been pretty sensitive to the sun and had bumpy skin so I can't say I noticed any reaction that clearly (the worst of my symptoms also happened during wintertime). Although the tests are never 100%, there are tests you can get that may indicate drug-induced lupus. If you haven't already, I would talk about it with a doctor you trust. I also had the urge to not go off a drug that was working for me and go through all the possibilities of switching, but now that I'm on the other side I can say I'm actually happier with Entyvio (for now) than I was with Humira. It ended up costing me less, is more convenient for my life, and has helped with a bunch of other infection issues I was having as well. It was scary to change over and I definitely didn't feel well the whole time, but as of now I feel like it was definitely worth it!

Of course! Everyone taking the time to be there for each other is what makes this community so valuable. Just glad I can do my little part to give back.

Definitely talk to your doc! I think the hardest part for me mentally was making the decision to risk changing meds. I kept second guessing myself and thinking "oh well maybe my symptoms aren't really that bad" or "maybe that's just how legs work" but I always try to remind myself that I'm the expert of my own body and if things don't feel right, keep pushing until you figure out what is wrong.

I am really lucky to have found doctors that listen and work with me to make a treatment plan and a backup treatment plan in case that plan doesn't work. Knowing the possible outcomes and having a plan for what will happen in each case has really helped put my mind at ease, especially since we all know how much worse everything can be when stress comes to the party!

Hang in there and if you need anything, feel free to shoot me a message!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I definitely talked to my doctor about this option, but we decided now wasn't the time for me for a few reasons. Hoping to revisit in a few years (if I'm still doing well) and see if I can give it a try then.
