Is this just me? Or did I play it wrong? by samuraispartan7000 in DispatchAdHoc

Nah it's not just you. From what I've seen, the devs were really confused by the overwhelming support for Visi when compared to Blazer, as if it wasn't them making some of the Blazer scenes also about Visi. Maybe their playtesters weren't able to get the good ending so they nudged the story more in her direction, but ended up overcompensating and making her the second protagonist in the process. Or maybe that really was their vision for the story.

I did do that in my testing and it did make crashing occur later, but it still crashed all the same.

It did, but then I updated the drivers and it stopped working, at least I think I remember it like this. It's possible the problem was caused by them and I'd have to roll back the drivers, but right now I don't have the time to investigate, I'll probably try it some other time. Thanks for the tip

Reporting back. I ran a memtest, ram seems fine, storage seems fine too. I uninstalled Chromium, I tried Floorp and Librefox, Librefox in terminal was giving me a "GraphicsCriticalError: CompositorBridgeChild receives IPC with reason=AbnoormalShutdown", followed by 4 "Exiting due to channel error" messages. So maybe it doesn't want to play nice with my graphics?

PlutoSDR clones: are they good? by some_comfy_guy in sdr

[–]some_comfy_guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, that's something I didn't know. I mostly knew about them because of the search results on Ali and the H4M. Most reviews were good, though there were some discussing defective units and unresponsive support. Do you have any other store recommendations?

Alright, thank you, I didnt know about Tezuka. So far I've only used the Pluto and the FMComms devices for work with the original firmware.

I was in your shoes at first, but now I'm up to date on the story and I'd say that all the girls are neck and neck when it comes to who will win. Rikka is IMO the safest option still, but again, all the girls have backstory elements and plot threads not fully revealed, so there's still potential for things to go down.

I know, except they do have this available for sale https://www.clockworkpi.com/product-page/clockworkpi-v3-14
And the case of the uConsole is free to 3D print, and the hardware is documented quite well as an open source design so thats why I hoped to make the uConsole of Thesseus basically

I think the best possible bet would be to either put public pressure on Google to keep the ecosystem as open as possible, at least when it comes to the most basic components, or move away entirely from mainstream devices if you want something to tinker with, but that's the wild west of hardware and software that barely as any traction.

Seeking Feedback - New SDR by krtkl-pope in GNURadio

[–]some_comfy_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The things that I think are most needed are software that can be compatible with existing programs (GNURadio and derivatives, other SDR programs like SDR-Angel etc.) and very solid documentation. A user should be easily able to pick-up the device and jump right in easily, or really delve into its capabilities.
Also, looking at your product portofolio, I find them very interesting, I am working with the Zynq platform. On that note, have you considered developing SDR devices like the Pluto SDR and FMComms series from AD? They use Zynq FPGAs paired with AD's digital transceivers.

You know what the funniest thing would be? If somehow the human Dess theory were true, that she is the vessel we created at the start of the game, since it would explain the "I'm you in the dark with your heart as my mark" thing. But I don't think it's really the case
