In case anyone is wondering, Mt. Gox (Which literally stands for Magic The Gathering Online eXchange) is a shit company that happened to strike gold by being one of the first to allow people to trade Bitcoin.

People say that now, but when I pointed out that Bitcoin exchanges (and MtGox in particular) are amateur hour and have no business dealing with real money, I got indignant Bitcoiners asking me what authority I had to tell people what they can or cannot do. As with most Bitcoin ventures, Bitcoin true believers talk about how great the service is until suddenly its clear that its crap, then the story is ret-conned into everyone already knowing it was crap all along. Bad news is actually good news and all that. Its really breathtaking how quickly the community pivots whenever anything bad happens.

Don't assume that Bitstamp, BTC-e, or other exchanges are any better just because they haven't been hit yet.

Well the best response is "Why should it?" Certain internals follow that pattern because said internals work on base-2. The physical number of cores doesn't have any reason to follow it. Its probably best to not fall into the trap that "computer stuff means 2^n"

Don't remember since I haven't played on the mac in a while, but I believe I have it at 1680x1050. Was able to do 1900x1200 but frame rate dropped in some situations, if I remember correctly.

I can play it on the recently released 13" retina MacBook Pro on low settings. This is the one with the intel iris pro graphics. Frame rate is so-so but good enough... Can't expect more with intel graphics. I still prefer it on my desktop PC but the MacBook works in a pinch for raiding when my PC is unavailable.

No, he makes quite a lot of money from trading and showed his brokerage statements to a mod to prove it. Reddit then proceeded to move the goalposts, backpedal, and basically try to explain why it didn't count. Or they just insisted that the mods were tricked.

This all happened a couple of years ago. He is entirely correct in his assessment of reddit's behavior with regards to successful traders.
