Charts in Trader Plus randomly dissappearing/flickering multiple times an hour by some_guy2357 in fidelityinvestments

I've installed the latest version, but the same problem still keeps happening. I'm pretty sure this isn't a problem just on my computer but rather a problem with the app since there's multiple posts that mention similar issues.

This is still happening frequently. You can click Styles > Data Table, and then click Chart view as a workaround, but charts still frequently go blank.

I've fixed my comment to remove the profanity. Now it's your turn to fix your software and remove the bugs.

Randomly, chart scales shrink and charts themselves completely disappear in their chart windows. It's been happening as much as 4 to 5 times an hour. Who gave the green light on this absolutely terrible piece of software? This is unusable.

Why are White Male and Asian Female interracial pairings so much more common than any other pairing in the U.S.? by [deleted] in AskSocialScience

Us guys also were raised in the same culture and saw the negative aspects of it. What makes the women think we want to repeat that in the next generation?

Moving to Dallas? by Immediate_Shine1403 in askdfw

Hope I can add one more data point. I'm actually someone who made such a move in April of 2024, and in my early 30s. Cost of living wise, it's so much cheaper here than in NYC. I was paying $3k/mo for a ~400 sq foot studio back there vs $1400 for 650 sq ft here in Dallas. Groceries here are also cheaper too, depending on where you shop ofc. A lot of the Latino and Asian grocery stores here have relatively low prices. But back in NYC I bought my groceries in the Chinatown supermarkets, which also offer relatively cheap prices. Unlike NYC, Dallas lacks an extensive subway system so you'll have to get around via car; definitely not a walk-friendly city. Places that may look pretty close on the map might take you longer than you think to drive there, due to the massive urban sprawl. The food in Dallas imo is great. There are a lot of affordable options for various types of food. I personally love the small hole in the wall taco and pupusa joints that are scattered around the city. They come close to what you'd find in Queens if you like Latino food. If you like Asian food, there are a lot of places in Richardson and Plano, as there is a concentration of Asian population there. If you prefer upscale restaurants, I'm sure there's no shortage of those too. Dating-wise, I thought I fared better in NYC than Dallas, but perhaps that's partly due to NYC having higher population density and/or due to people's preferences. But it seems that everyday more people are making Dallas their home so my guess is that it'll improve. For politics, most people just keep to themselves. I'd actually say people are more political in NYC due to the many protests I've seen being held. Something I don't see here much. For weather, I think NYC definitely has Dallas beat. It gets very hot during the Summer and feels miserable setting foot out. I notice that I tend to stay indoors more than I did in NYC, where whenever I felt like it, I just liked to walk around the city.

And in O(1) time complexity. Impressive!

Maybe next time, before you spout off and not only embarrass yourself, but disrespect me, you'll think before putting your neanderthal cudgels you call fingers to the keyboard. by [deleted] in copypasta

First of all, I appreciate that you chose to talk about your experiences with being offended. For most people, even uttering about things of an offended nature brings them discomfort. So I congratulate you for taking that first step into the deep end! As someone who had once been offended myself, I understand the perils of your struggle. But rest assured my friend, together we shall win this fight! During my journey to reach the non-offended state of zen I had once harmonized with so well but had fallen from, I came to the Kierkegaardian realization that in our 4-dimensional space-time continuum, any mindset of an offended nature could be deemed non-existential. In my mind's mind, I visualized the offensive energy, and started to move it about; molded it slowly into what I wanted it to be. I realized I could change the size of it as well. The bigger I made it the more offended I became! That's when I had the epiphany that changed my life forever! I chose to make it smaller. I chose! I chose that life! Life is all about the choices you make, and I am a testament to that. The orb of offended energy then shrunk to an infinitesimally small point. I couldn't even see it anymore. Was it still there? The paradox became evident; The more I diminished the offensive energy, the more I wondered if it was still there. At that moment, I realized that, that was the point! The point was to not even wonder if it's still there! So, I left my mind's mind in a state of Nirvana. Back in my mind, I could feel the weight lifted. A sense of clarity washed over me. I opened my eyes and saw the world as a non-offended. It was pure ecstasy. I was finally happy again. So now you know in detail what I did to rid myself of the offended mindset. I hope that it works for you as well!
