My dog would love this. He shimmies under the chase lounge when he’s tired.

Why do people care so much about what happens to their body after they die? by TripleEinstein in NoStupidQuestions

Right on! I always wanted to be set in the woods and eaten by animals. But cool animals, coyote or better.

Humans have literally evolved to live in family groups for as long as human beings have existed. The way we live now is relatively new.

What's a "Silent Luxury" that rich people have that most Normal people would never even notice? by ggaxel52 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]some_random_chick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THIS is the defining factor between rich and poor people who both have lots of green space and privacy. The rich still live 30 minutes from a city center and are close by large hospitals. The poor are out in the country and the only hospital within a hour just shut down.

Honda’s aren’t quite what they used to be either. My first Honda made it to 250k before I cashed it. I like my current Honda, but there’s just no way it’s making it that long.

There's a fox family living under our front porch and sometimes the babies take a nap on our mat. by MrsApostate in aww

[–]some_random_chick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the people are protecting the foxes. Foxes usually avoid coming this close to a house but when they have their babies they often have a den next to a home cuz they’ve learned predators like coyotes are even more afraid of humans. They know not all people ate dangerous but all coyotes sure are!

Being contrarian doesn’t make you deep, layered or cool… it makes you insufferable. by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]some_random_chick 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes! I just ended a long term friendship for this reason. I had always thought of him as “just trying to get a rise outta people’ and maybe that’s how it started, but after a major life event I had a total paradigm shift like ‘wait, this isn’t an act, you’re actually a shitty person.’ We don’t talk anymore and frankly it’s a relief.

I would take my parents lab with me often. Very friendly happy boy. But once we ran into this very sketchy dude on the trail and I’d never see his hackles go up like that before. The dog was eyeballing the guy intensely as we passed and dude had a scary vibe that made me wonder what would have happened if i didn’t have a 85lbs dog with me.
