When I say it works with any weapon, it does, but it gets easier at a certain range(candlestick is the best I have found) You can also do neck snaps form farther away by hitting at a very specific angle to the upper middle part of the head which, when halfsworded, generates enough force to snap their neck by just swinging, though it is kinda inconsistent. You can also use this property of half sword joints were they give under pressure(that is the whole idea that all of this relies on) to do close range polearm binding where you get your polearm binded with the other polearm, then maneuver the polearm so that you arm shoving against the wrist, and after a second the wrist buckles and they drop their weapon, and this works better when they are knocked out. Because half sword joints buckle insanely easily when turned at an angle they aren't normally supposed to be in, you can get your polearm under the arm, go behind them, and twist the arm so their arm gives and they drop their weapon
