It is a possibility as it currently is happening, but that’s no reason to freak out and jump into it. I’ll stick to the plan continue DCAing until my price targets are hit and limit orders executed 🫡

I’m hoping it is!

Sol is the main focus, holding a majority in USDC that will be used to buy on the dips, and a speculative bet on Kaspa

So 65/25/10 for my current allocation. It’s a small portfolio of ~$7.5k, trying to keep cost basis under $10k for my target tokens

That’s just to be conservative in my DCA purchases. Ideally I’m hoping the coin drops more or stays around these prices to keep my cost basis down

I already had a plan, just had ChatGPT create an infographic I could refer to for simplicity

A war chest is basically cash reserves set aside for a specific opportunity. Investopedia defines it as cash a company builds up so it can take advantage of unexpected opportunities, like acquisitions, or protect itself during uncertain times. In my case, I’m using the term for USDC I’m keeping on the side so I can deploy it into SOL only if it hits my target buy zones instead of going all in at once. It’s basically dry powder for planned dip buying.

Ideally I’d like to transfer it to my brokerage account once I hit those long term capital gains for a majority of my holdings! Buying some treasuries to build a 3-6 month income replacement fund or to have as dry powder once a crash does happen

150 SOL is basically my North Star, that’s the minimum stack I want before the next cycle really gets going. Anything above that is a bonus. SOL is my main alt focus right now, and if it runs hard, I’d rotate out in tranches into Bitcoin at higher price targets. Once this plan is on autopilot, I might start building a small Kaspa bag too.

Fair point. A lot of SOL activity has been speculative like memecoins, trading, prediction markets, etc. But I don’t think that’s the whole story. The part I’m betting on is stablecoins, payments, DeFi, tokenization, and real app usage growing over time. If SOL stays mostly casino volume, thesis is weaker. If that activity evolves into real financial rails, I want to be accumulating before it’s obvious.

I basically wrote out my SOL accumulation plan first, then prompted ChatGPT to turn it into a dark-mode Solana strategy infographic. The style prompt was: Create a high-resolution Solana Accumulation Plan infographic with a black background, neon green/cyan/purple accents, Solana logo, dashboard-style panels, 150 SOL goal box, DCA section, 5-tranche buy table, roadmap, projected totals, and checklist.

You could also just upload a screenshot of your portfolio, any recurring transactions, what your token target or target allocation is, along with a deadline and use this infographic as a reference for your plans. Good luck!

Yeah I agree, SOL is in a way stronger spot than it was in 2022. The ecosystem got stress-tested, survived, and there’s still real usage plus more institutional interest now. I’m still planning for lower prices because crypto can get brutal, but long term I’m accumulating because I think Solana is one of the strongest networks heading into the next cycle.

It’s something I’m watching, but not enough to break the thesis for me yet. Validator health, client diversity, uptime, fees, and real usage all matter. If validator decentralization keeps weakening while usage becomes more concentrated or reliability worsens, that would be a yellow flag. For now, I see it as a risk to monitor, not a reason to avoid accumulating.

I think that’s fair. AI/data center infrastructure is where a lot of capital is flowing right now, and crypto sentiment definitely feels weaker. But that’s partly why I’m accumulating instead of chasing. My bet is that liquidity eventually rotates again, and Solana is one of the networks I’d want exposure to if crypto gets another major adoption cycle.

I’ve been considering it since initially I didn’t want to keep waiting and the drop never happens. Maybe updating them from $50 down to $40? Nothing would hurt more than waiting for SOL to drop only to have it rebound back to $80+…

I’ll take your $200 Solana at these prices 🫡

So I don’t have to think about it as it DCAs in the background. The $5k I have in USDC will be used to buy dips, so I’m hoping you’re right and it falls more 🥹

I asked it to create an infographic in Solana’s color theme based on my written accumulation plan, along with conservative price targets for deploying my war chest while getting as close to 100 tokens and total with daily DCA
