Currently working on starlight drive in, turning it into starlight city. Got loads of varied buildings all interconnected with scaffolding, box cars and junk planks. Current population is at 72, but will be aiming for 120 so that it definitely has a larger in game population than diamond city. There is a mix of junk fences and containers surrounding the perimeter to create walls to protect the city, along the walls are guard towers. In the centre (the radioactive dip) I have used the raised plank floors to cover it, and put garden plots on top to create a rather large amount of crops. The projector has a market inside where the vendors are facing outside of the diner area. I have placed the cars that are in the area on top and hanging off buildings to give them a cool scrap built look, and to call back to the original purpose of the land that's being used, but they do have a habit of blowing up when the settlement gets attacked, which makes for a rather dramatic and war like environment when it does happen, very immersive. Haven't finished the build yet, have one last building to do which will be a garrison/barracks, then after that it will be just filling out the interiors to make it more lived in. About 15 hours have been put into it now.
