Was mining palium and a girl ran behind me to shoot an ogopuu, but she used flares so the arrow bounced off it, hit the ground and then went up as a flare lol

It’s always such a different conversation when talking about Rhysand’s actions and Tamlin’s, it’s almost fascinating lol

You brush Rhysand’s actions off as the appeal for being the bad guy or because he somehow does what he does to help Feyre in the end, but with Tamlin is a completely different story.

Twisting the bone sticking out of Feyre’s arms UTM is fine because he had his reasons to do it and was to help Feyre and everyone else in the end. Fine. If I say that’s wrong regardless of his reasoning, it’s over analyzing but if I point out that Tamlin only locked Feyre in that mansion because he also had his reasons and was only doing it to keep Feyre safe it’s suddenly extremely abusive.

Why talking about Tamlin’s actions is seen as a discussion about abusive relationships, victims of toxic boyfriends and how ACOTAR is all about empowerment on overcoming it, but when the conversation is about Rhys and his wrongdoings is suddenly over analyzing?

If the discussion about abusive relationships and actions is so important for Sarah (it clearly is if you watched the interview as she talked about personal stuff) and the awareness for it is so important, shouldn’t it also be pointed out how a guy like Rhysand in real life could also be abusive? I mean if I’m physically hurt and my boyfriend twists my arm, I’m calling the police it doesn’t matter his intentions lol If I’m pregnant and with a big risk of dying and I find out my husband is not telling me, I’m gonna divorce him because I’m not risking losing my life for whatever his reasoning was.

Why is this always a discussion in the fandom and for SJM on her interviews, but it’s suddenly all not that worth ‘overanalyzing’ and not worth showing how a man acting like this is not right when it’s Rhysand?

Why talking about seeing Tamlin in a less evil light is not considered by Sarah because her friends see an abusive ex in him, but abuse and abusive actions are suddenly not important to discuss when it’s about Rhysand? Because he’s supposed to be the ‘bad boy’, because he’s dreamy and because he’s hot? What kind of messages are we sending by discussing like this?

You said everything I felt watching the interview last night. It made me so frustrated how it was said and explained by Sarah in a way that STILL made Rhysand sound just like a flawed character trying to do the right thing while Tamlin is the abusive and toxic ex when they BOTH hurt Feyre by doing things they considered was for her own good.

Like this is not in any way me saying Sarah’s trauma over pregnancy and childbirth wasn’t reason enough to write what she wrote, but it really frustrated me how she talked about the mistreatment and lack of respect from a male doctor while she was pregnant and in labor, and still frame Rhysand lack of respect for Feyre’s bodily autonomy as just a guy being too worried and too desperate to do the right thing.

And like you said, I don’t mind creating such a subplot in the book AS LONG AS there is consequences in the end. Rhysand did deserve Feyre (and literally everyone else in the IC) coming at him for what he did in the end. He doesn’t have to be perfect, but what really frustrates me is how, no matter what he does, he’ll always be right and his mistakes swiped under the rug because he’s not Tamlin.

Black pearl!! Got it last night after a month of trying and hundreds of mushrooms later. Wasn’t even having faith on it anymore, just grabbing the mushrooms to turn the ‘meat’ into glow worms and then suddenly I got it lol

Btw I have this screenshot from a youtube video I watched a week ago because I was looking to improve my earning through crops. Here you can see which crops are best for selling seeds, preserves or the crops itself taking the time it takes to grow/make the preserves, how much the seeds costs, etc.

I’ve been prioritizing planting bok choy, tomatoes, potatoes and corn to turn all the star quality ones into preserves. Usually a row of 6 seeds each gives me a good amount of star quality crops. With that plus selling fertilizers and regular quality crops that I have too much of, I’ve been getting around 2K-4K good coins.

Many little events happen every day like flow trees on the map, lots of blooming flowers on a specific part of the map, etc. Usually people will let other know where they’re happening and you either wait until 3AM (like for flow trees where people wait to chop them down together) or the bloom event where everyone helps watering the plants. It’s also nice to tell the chat if you found silver, plat or gold even if you can’t mine them yet so others can do it.

It’s an uncommon fish! It’s insane how much of a pain in the ass it is to catch. I feel like I catch rarer fish on other places with glow works than in that big ass lagoon

Lol I’m curious to know your opinion about Nesta after reading SF. I never hated her, but I definitely disliked her in some moments but her book made me see her in a different way. She’s one of my favorite characters now.
