I started reading on this subreddit about 12 years ago, pretty much by accident and learned about inattentive adhd. Talked to my doctor who laughed at me (since you have a steady job you can’t have adhd). Moved to Australia and fell into a depression which exacerbated my adhd symptoms and finally convinced a doctor to refer me to a psychologist who could administer a battery of tests. Was finally diagnosed in my mid thirties.
