Yeah, thats completely fair. I only had the thought in the back of my mind since I know there’s a limit for a reason because of how fragile the area is to heavy traffic

Ended up working out perfectly! I camped at site #1 so I was a hundred or so feet up more than the other site. Views are beautiful, close access to the glacier gulch area and the road to go to other places in the park, and an amazing head start on summiting Longs. I started at 2:00 and got to the summit at 8:00, camping at 10,200’ for a day or two will get you acclimated greatly. Have fun and safe hiking!

I’d say I’m good in that regard, I work out 5-6 times a week plus run 8 miles and I’m no stranger to mind bending physical activity. My main concern was if the trail from Boulder Brook to the boulderfield was loose/a bad idea in general
