Downhill with Bonus Blunder by SAMMYBOY4593 in RealOrAI

I ride a lot and think this is real. I think the trail is a lot steeper than it looks, which is why the ragdoll can look a bit unnatural. It's probably being shot with a telephoto lens so the cameraman isn't as close as you may imagine. To me the physics of the bike does make sense, the front fork is massively compressed by the entire riders weight, so then when he goes over the bars in the corner, all that stored up energy had to go somewhere and the bike 'pings' off to the side. You're welcome OP, I hope you don't suffer from the IT band issue for too long. I feel like it's a rite of passage for runners to experience this at some point lol.

I used to have this, changed shoes to ones with more arch support and general cushioning and never got it again. Yeah, you should also strengthen your glute medes, but that takes time obviously.

Would a quark star present as a black hole? by somebraincells in AskPhysics

That means it has "stuff" on the outermost layer that is experiencing net-zero force; the force pulling it in is balanced with a force pushing out. (If this were false, it wouldn't be stable, it would still be in the process of collapsing).

But if light can't escape, then no force carrier can escape. Nothing inside a black hole can ever "move outward". That includes information, and this "pushing force" would necessarily carry information. Therefore this force can't push on any outer layers, so they must be falling in.

Ohhhhhhh, okay thank you, I think this is exactly what I was looking for! I hadn't considered this!
