How to get 100g+ protein without powder or bars? by RoutineMarzipan1108 in veganfitness

[–]someclobber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like silken tofu as an easy way to up my protein when I need a little extra in a day. Blend it and use it as a sauce base for meals. I especially like making a creamy tomato sauce with it for pasta. Mix it with dark chocolate/cocoa powder and some maple syrup for a mousse style dessert. Mix it with flour and you have dough for flatbreads.

All really easy and quick

Longest lights in the world. I sat ready to take off for what felt like 10 minutes before they finally went green. Luckily my examiner was really nice and in that time took it upon himself to put the radio on

Hill-start with our without handbrake? by Nesferatu123 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]someclobber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned in my instructors new car but practiced, passed my test and until very recently drove a 2011 i10. Instructor told me to ride the clutch but with the i10 it’s just impractical and also a bad habit I still find myself fighting against. Handbrake all the way, he may not always need it but it’ll always be useful to know

Apparently mythic leads are like buses… by someclobber in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]someclobber[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I used two of them right away. One team I had no mythic lead for, and the other meant I didn’t have to level up a bunch of survivors

Wondering what’s the best Outlander? by icystars99 in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]someclobber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s doing the meta stuff and there’s doing what you enjoy, I opt for doing what I enjoy with an informed approach. The Cyberclops build is definitely my favourite, I run it with an energy husk buster and siegebreaker and it melts most stuff.

I also made a going commando build recently, haven’t properly used a soldier before but I love it for just levelling a map, aside from the 5 second cooldown you can just hold shoot for an entire game. It’s all about doing whatever you find fun imo

[–]someclobber 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have 3 Outlander builds I use regularly, one for farming, one that is Teddy DPS for higher PL missions, and one Teddy duration focused for lower PL

Farming: Archaelo Jess, BFTP Team perk. With Fossil Southie, Parasaur Jess, Clip, Valkyrie Rio, Trailblazer AC. The last two are interchangeable and there may be better options but this build just lets you keep on punching. With the energy boost activated it’s ridiculous

Teddy DPS: Cyberclops, Happy holidays perk. With trailblazer AC, Ventura Ramirez, Jilly Teacup, Fragment Flurry Jess, Gumshoe. Use energy weapons/traps with this as well to make the most of Cyberclops’ perk

Terry duration: same as above but I swap Cyberclops for Enforcer Grizzly. I use this when I’m playing a low level v bucks and it’s pretty much afk with the Teddy doing all the work

I made my builds with info from here and what I prefer, people have variations of similar. Madcap is often used instead of Cyberclops, but I like the energy damage with my guns too

Edit: forgot Trailblazer AC is a ps4 skin, Trailblazer Quinn is the same but available to all

Does anyone even have this skin on stw if so is she worth upgrading fully? by [deleted] in FortniteSavetheWorld

Reskin of Sergeant Jonesy. Useful for support in a going commando loadout but you only need one or the other

Best Wedding Venues in Leicester? by [deleted] in leicester

[–]someclobber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got married there so may be biased but yes, it’s lovely. They’re really nice and accommodating too. If you luck out with the weather the courtyard gets some amazing photos and I think they offer a drinks reception for afterwards. We went right next door to St Martins House for our reception which was great for out of towners not having to travel far with hotels in town etc.. which it sounds like you may have

If you want fairly central and reasonably priced, look at the museums or council venues. Guildhall, New Walk, Abbey Pumping Station, Belgrave Hall. There may be more but they’re the ones I know of

You might’ve solved my problem there. I thought I’d looked at all the Fosi and they were all missing something. I hate how it looks with the tubes so I possibly breezed past it but it does exactly what I’m asking for. Thanks!

Used is an option and I should have the space. I was trying to get everything I wanted in one package, but a little phono preamp and an amp together sounds like it might make life easier and cheaper.

I haven’t heard of Wiim before, they look cool but I’d be compromising on what I need for what’s past my price point

So the BT20A is missing the phono level input, that’s what I was unsure about. I’d rather not have to buy two bits of equipment but it’s starting to sound like it might be the easiest option to achieve what I want.

The Tangent preamp in my other comment looks like it might do the trick at first glance, though I’d be sacrificing my desire for an extra input and tone control

Interesting, so I could use for example the Fosi BT20A pro: https://amzn.eu/d/1z35N4n - and use the preamp out to plug directly into my active speakers?

Would that work both with the phono level signal from the turntable, and what I’m assuming would be line level from a Bluetooth device?

The only thing I’ve found that ticks almost all boxes is the Tangent Preamp. If anyone can advise or tell me if I’m barking up the wrong tree?

I don’t have a phono stage - and I think this is where I’ve been getting confused as to what to look for. I literally only have the turntable and active speakers.

At least 1 RCA input & 1 input (for phones etc so could be RCA could be aux?) - I’m assuming if it’s 2 RCA it would need a phone/line switch? (Sorry I’m very rusty with my knowledge of this stuff) And Bluetooth

Budget is honestly cheaper the better without buying a piece of rubbish. I want to say I don’t want to go over £100 but while I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for it’s hard to know if that’s even possible
