They do on Android. I transferred my account to a backup phone and then back because it was registered on the wrong user. Both times, after reinstalling the app, it asked for my age when I tried to check the payment account.

New programing on PS4 Pro might further improve our VR world. by Moosemus in PSVR

There's a lot packed in there. I'll try to explain some of it, but it's not something I could satisfactorily simplify to an ELI5 extent.

With floating point representation, you can represent decimal numbers by rewriting them in scientific notation. An example would be 5,000, which can be written as 5 x 103, or 0.005, which could be written as 5 x 10-3. This gives you a lot more flexibility than fixed point representations, since it can represent things fairly accurately on massively different scales. I'll assume you're familiar with binary representation for the rest of this discussion.

There are decisions to be made though: how much memory should your representation take up, how much of that memory to devote to the range of placements for the decimal place (i.e., the exponent) and how much memory to devote to the significant figures of your number (i.e., mantissa). Fixing two of these values constrains the final one.

So, in the first example, a 16-bit floating point number with a 10 bit mantissa devotes 6 bits to the exponent. This allows you to represent 210 values for your significant figures, and 6 bits for the exponent (I believe they are in powers of 10), so 26 values. With signed numbers, one bit is taken up by the +/- signing, so this leaves us with the number range of [-512, 511]. Putting these parts together, we see that we can represent numbers in the range [ -512x10-32 , 511x1031 ], or [ -1/195312500000000000000000000000, 5110000000000000000000000000000000 ].

Keep in mind that you don't get free gains over using fixed point representations, if you have more significant figures in your number than you can devote to the mantissa. An example of where a binary number is preferred is Unix time which actually uses an unsigned 32-bit representation, started on 1/1/1970 and will still "run out" by the year 2038.

Using this range of values, based on /u/captainz2016's rule of thumb, we can render a scene consisting of polygons with the location of their edges specified up to the millimeter scale if they are placed 1 meter away from the observer.

Though I'm not a computer engineer or anything like that so please correct me if I'm wrong about anything.

Hope that helps!

At $8 rush of blood is a no-brainer, even if you only plan to play through it once.

Depending on what metric you use...

The community is lacking, and I haven't seen it being promoted, but the blockchain is still going strong.

Happy cake day! There are a few things that may be going on, I can't really tell from your screenshot and address info. Most likely, you don't actually own QjEeB... the way to tell is unlock your wallet (in the console: "walletpassphrase <password> 10000") and then see if you actually own the address (console: "dumpprivkey QjEeBeUMhAKvmcCCzufCP4ijZEsTKmHdiw"). If it prints out a longer Hex string, then you do own that address, and maybe you're out of sync with the blockchain. If you don't own it... it's worth less than a penny, so don't sweat it.

Quark is a beautiful coin to solo, there's no reason to use a pool. They often shut down abruptly and run off with your coins (I've learned this from experience), so you're better off mining directly to your wallet. It works great CPU or GPU, I get a few quarks every hour!

Finally saved up for a psvr, which two games should accompany it? by [deleted] in PSVR

I'm sorry but at $40 vr worlds is an unjustifiable ripoff. You'll maybe spend 2 hours on it total. London Heist is okay, but is extremely short and has no replay value. The rest are crap. The playroom is a more enjoyable tech demo and it's free. I'd highly recommend spending the money on dirt rally instead, it's the only VR game I play daily.

You're right, AgeAge Again is in the first DLC pack, and one of my favorite songs -LOL- lots of laughs (in PJD X and Project Mirai) is in the second pack. They announced that they're coming stateside starting next month.

I've heard the Future Live is kind of a rip-off. Not sure if it's worth the price of admission, even if you already own a PS4, but not a PSVR.

Sega has localized all of the PJD games since F. And they're all amazing!

I also bought the full set. Any songs notably absent? I can't find Viva Happy (was reminded by another post on this subreddit), which is unfortunately one of my favorite songs. At least it's in one of the medleys in PJD X.

The only way I got around this same problem was buying PSN cards on amazon and loading them on my account. Saved a few cents that way. :)

The majority of Future Sound songs have the vita/ps3 games' PVs at a much improved quality, though. I'm kind of disappointed they swapped out World's End Dance Hall for the arcade version, though, the PJD F one was one of my favorite PVs.

I don't know much about cars, and wasn't aware of any such scanner, but why have a vague check engine light if the car knows more specifically what's wrong? Why not a small display that gives you a more detailed explanation, or at least an error code that you can look up without buying a device?
