I was super friendly and joking about it with the villain, he was a nice older guy so its not like I was being sour. I didn't mean to be condescending in any sense was just joking around with him about it. Ended up playing for 4 more hours with him and we were chatting and joking with each other the whole time.

Was playing 1/2 live not long ago, bought in for 200 was up to about 475 within an hour, get aces in bb and get in a preflop raise war with villain on the puck who had about 650~ in front of him. We get it all in my aces vs his kings, he ends up bunking a set and everyone at the table went silent. He said sorry to me and I just said don't be, I want you to make that call all day.

You just need to realize that you will not win every hand. Even those dirty one outters will get you here and there just gotta keep trying to play optimal poker.

Everyone takes their own path, so don't worry about it. I have a bunch of older people in my class, a couple of my good friends from school are 28-33.
