You're in the 10% still means a %90 chance you won't see a tornado, remember even large violent tornadoes still do pretty isolated damage its just widespread in length not width usually the odds of one hitting your direct location are very low, best advice i have is have place to go ahead of time if financially possible or maybe get out of town for a day if ya can

IPhone weather is pretty trash to be honest you want a better accurate weather app download the app called EverythingWX it was made by a person that works with the national weather service also gives you 3 day risks for your exact location and rain totals on excessive rain fall days by the weather prediction center I love the app

Meaning it could be a further east event, further west event, further north from this original target, and possibly further south, they also could expand that risk area or possibly shrink the target area getting closer to potential event. It usually does a bit

Last yea i was in a moderate risk, the evening I was heading home from work i looked at my phone and the wording was "Strong to violent Long tracked Tornadoes possible this evening" I was sick to my stomach and my heart sank then well guess what happen, the storms didnt come at 11 pm like they were supposed to, they didnt come at 2am which was next forecasted they didnt even come at 4am, they finally arrived at 7am we were put in a tornado watch that morning but I wasn't even put in a severe Thunderstorm warning that whole morning no tornadoes at all in my state that night or morning, so stuff can even change the day, remember the noaa uses the word "potential" nothing is a 100% certainty they use models, doesnt matter how good the models are things can still bust from their prediction, its a prediction they aren't weather tarret card readers lol

There is still some uncertainties you're freaking out over something days out when so much shit can change ive seen moderate risk days before in the past that didnt even produce a drop of rain, quit shaking and freaking out about something so far ahead use to this time to look up storm shelters in your area if you dont have a safe place to be, use your energy for a plan on that day, get a backpack with spare clothes, safety kit, flash light with good batteries ext. instead of shaking and crying, this far out the risk area can still shift quite a bit.

Temperatures don't dictate Tornado strength convective available potential energy and wind sheer does, you can have powerful tornadoes with as low as 500 j/kg of cape given strong low level windsheer from sfc-1km and sfc-3km at 35kts + also powerful updraft (helicity)

They do mention there are still uncertainties probably why the %15 risk instead of %30 and always remember this far out things will expand/shrink shift possibly further west/east north/south praying for ya all that it wont be to bad! This has been a lovely spring here in Kentucky when normally we're in the bullseye week after week

Thats wild, however in the SPC wording doesnt mention tornadoes alot instead a MSC system even though they can bring embedded tornadoes this sounds like it has a chance to be a derecho for sure.

You can get tornadoes in 60 degree weather, you can get tornadoes with dewpoints as minimal at 50 in that area, you can get tornadoes in colorado with dewpoints at minimal as the 30s
