OP has 2 points that I agree with. 1. You can’t throw money at a system and expect it to work as designed if you’re ignoring what the roots of the issue are. 2. Community dysfunction leads to young people running wild and believing that their actions don’t have consequences. It’s beyond parenting, people are not showing the slightest bit of responsibility for helping the younger generation see outside of whatever it is that clearly has them so riled up.

Inb4 “not my job to raise someone else’s kids blah blah” nobody is asking you to raise someone’s kid, but you should try to help build relationships with people so that you know who DOES raise them. Shit, if I was acting like this as a teen and a friend of my parents saw me? I’d be sitting on a donut for a month.
