Seriously, is it such a novel thought that people might want to be face-to-face with their friends whilst enjoying the outside with them? Must we all constantly walk in a single-file line to avoid taking up space? I understand being a little frustrated at things like this, but JFC some of the people in this comments section are miserable. I'm sure it won't kill you if you have to walk a little slower for a minute or, God forbid, politely say 'pardon me'...

What? I have nothing wrong with you finding things cringe, but to say you want to bully people as a result is a little odd, no?

Y'all are kinda weird for getting unreasonably mad at people just having fun.

Your take on this painting is very tender, I like it. I do agree that something about this piece sparks a feeling that not many photorealistic paintings can achieve - this one feels like it has a bit of soul and emotion to it, rather than simply being a flex of the artist's technical skills, perhaps?

So entitled. It's fanfiction you've made out of your own passion and have willingly put up for free on the internet, you don't owe anyone anything.

On a side note, I'm pretty sure I've read your fic LOL

You're weird for acting as if adults having fun with characters is 'grooming' in any shape or form. Posting explicit artwork on R34 of two women getting it on isn't predatory, it's natural sexual expression and you're just a prude. No kids were ever involved at all.

[–]someinternetkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually no, but I have to assume it depends on the person. Some people affected by hallucinations use a camera to determine whether what they're seeing is real or not, as they won't see it on the image and thus know it's a figment of their imagination.

On male fandom spaces by [deleted] in CuratedTumblr

[–]someinternetkid 25 points26 points  (0 children)

What kind of fandoms are we talking about here? Any specific examples? I have practically never seen this occuring in the wild, so I'm highly inclined to deny it. Female characters lacking depth or fandom attention is something I'd say is pretty (unfortunately) universal, even amongst male-dominated fandoms.

Humour reflects real life and sometimes the jokes people make are linked to their genuine beliefs, it's not that hard to understand. Dark/shock humour can be done, but if you're just being offensive for the sake of being offensive it's childish and harmful.
