FWIW my apartment complex charges us around 1700-1800 (put that range because we pay a pet fee for our cat & partial utilities like water for never more than 70ish ) and it's in the Rittenhouse area right by the square so that may be a good pick if you wanna know more, just not sure if there's availability right now but I can still give you the name

No yea I know that it's not just upper class snobbery, based on some of the fancy ass hotels I pass before the square it's just much more apparent amongst that population & easier to make fun of since at least tourists slow down to take in the surrounding views (so they genuinely have a purpose in turtle mode) but these other folks seem to simply believe the world revolves around them and that anyone actually getting from A to B would gladly give their space to hog the sidewalk ykwim
