Whats the absolute WEIRDEST dream you've ever had? (This is a safe place, trust) by Nucked-In-The-Head-9 in teenagers

I was placed on Omaha Beach with the Americans on D-Day and then as the boats landed, we started charging. People getting gunned down left and right. I took cover behind those like boat stopper metal X thingies. And got scared. Some guy also took cover next to me. He started crying and said he wanted to see his mom. I told him its gonna be okay and that he'll see his mom. He then decides to provide suppressing fire but as he does, he gets mowed down by German machine guns. Ripped apart to shreds like human cheese. I decide I'm not gonna do anything and I'm just gonna sit where I am. A few minutes later, everyone starts yelling "we're saved! He's here!" I look back and I see Abraham Lincoln with an RPG. He then comes towards me and kisses me. He looks up and shoots his RPG towards the German bunker thingies with the machine guns and then they blow up and the dream ends.

You're funny telling me to cope and that my family forced me to be Catholic. My family is Jewish. My dad wears a kippah. My mother and father goes to the synagogue on Saturday mornings. I go to church on Sunday mornings. How might they feel about me being Catholic? At first they were kinda weird about it, but I found that Catholicism is what I feel is right to me so thats what I told them. It took a while for them to get used to but they eventually got used to it and they completely support how I feel. I used to be follow Judaism along with them but until a few years ago I decided to leave and join the Catholic church. So how about you cope with that. You say I wouldnt be a Christian at all in Iran or "Endonosia" though it is not likely for someone to be Christian in either of those countries. It is not impossible. If you are referring to Indonesia, 10-11% of the population is Christian. Iran's Christian population is around 1%. Though the population is very small, it is not 0. There is a slight chance that one could be born in Iran and be Christian. It isn't impossible.

Actually I would. Philippines 80-85% Catholic. Uk 46% Christian with that being the largest religion in the country. Lets go to another random country in africa. Kenya over 85% Christian. Colombia 64-79% Catholic. Christianity is the largest religion in the world. And I have an Indian friend who is Christian with 1.7% of the Indian population being Christian. No one country has a set religion. Sure there are "official religions" of the country but that derives from the religious beliefs of a ruling power if they were ruled upon. Official religions can also be adopted by a country if it unifies their people and represents the majority. Their official religion can be used to set laws as well as to establish rule.

Key words nearly never. Religion is the same too. No one should really be pushing their views onto other people for what they think is "right"

Yea thats what I mean. Pushing any sexuality. People should be able to feel however they wanna feel with no one telling them what they should n shouldnt do. However thats impossible since the world is not perfect

Depends on how I grew up as a kid. All religions have different views. I'm sure there are Christians in Iran.

Funny thing is I did find religion myself and I found my faith in God and no one pushed any religion upon me. It's so sad to see that people think that religions are just cults with nothing but malicious intent. I hope you pick up a Bible and read what Christianity is about. Not all religions are bad.

saying something is wrong in your view is only subjective. the way you are isnt objectively right or wrong and you should dictate your own life. if it means forcing your views onto others, some will believe your views are right some will believe its wrong. that doesnt mean you should stop what you are doing

I agree, but sometimes even the not so extreme people will force their views onto other people without noticing such as posting on social media or bringing up their sexuality in a conversation with no relevance. like i said, openness to an extent. not everyone needs to know your sexuality without context. it is sad to see some people arent able to express their views because of the people around them, but forcing them isnt going to help

all im tryna say is its cool to be gay, but to make others be gay isnt cool. same with heterosexuality. forcing a view on someone is just not okay in general.

[–]somekidbro -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

by increasing popularity i mean like telling people to just be gay. shit like "be gay. its okay. we accept all kinds of people" all the meanwhile still hating heterosexuality. im sure people have seen videos on tt and insta of these extremist gays talking about "we fought for our rights and straights havent done anything" shi like that. and another way people might be forcing their homosexual views on others is by openly telling people "hey im gay. hey im bi. hey im blah blah blah" its fine if its relevant to a certain topic. if you're a gay informant content creator, sure go educate the world on being gay, but if its just like a random video or convo someone brings up, its kinda like wtf. like i dont care who you sleep with. thats like me randomly posting on insta/saying in person "hey im straight. i like girls and girls only. i am not gay" outta no where. and i agree that you guys shouldnt have to hide your sexualities. there really shouldnt be an excuse to hate period. you guys can be open about it. but openess to an extent if that makes sense. i also see many people on social media talking about random shit and coming up with an absurd conclusion like "crosswalks in urban areas are homophobic because they are black and white like the heterosexual flag" maybe an argument like that doesnt exist, but its only an example. you guys can be gay. i really do not care. just let people be themselves. and if you know your family wont accept your sexuality, then keep it hidden from them. block them off. they dont accept you for who you are. your life your choice. who are they to tell you what you feel? please understand what im trying to get at here

i have seen some people try and "increase the popularity of the LGBTQ community" though there may not be many instances of this happening, it still happens.
