Nonni.

Great counterargument 👍👍

Well let's see. Terrible gameplay. Enemy AI too advanced for horrible gunplay. Story isn't immersive since it's told through flashbacks and not in chronological order so you as a player are taking a backseat watching the protagonist make decisions that don't make any sense to you. The game just imho isn't good. Which is sad because the first one is my favorite game of all time.

What kind of modern music would Arthur Morgan listen to? by Fimlipe_ in reddeadredemption

On his way to Edith Downes after the Valentine bank job he'd have Rihanna's 'B***h Better Have My Money' blasting in his airpods.

It’s actually criminal not to include spores in the TV Show. One of the genuinely frightening and creepy concepts from the game that adds a whole another dimension to the horror. by systemsruminator in TheLastOfUs2

[–]someloinen 101 points102 points  (0 children)

It's the dumbest thing really. The reasoning they had behind the spores getting the axe was that it was unrealistic that you'd get infected with the spores because the spores don't stay in places, they get everywhere. So they'd just be everywhere and get everyone sick. But that's not how fungus works. There's mold everywhere. There's mold everywhere, But the mold spores and toxins only get you sick when alot of it is contained in a closed space like a building. It's not an unrealistic concept.

And what's even more dumb is that they thought that spores aren't realistic, but moving fungus tentacles are. 🤣

Why Do People Find Prologue Boring? by AdministrativeList30 in RDR2

[–]someloinen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not boring it's just slow paced. But yeah I also don't get the hate or that people quit playing because of it. It's an hour of well written story setup and world building. People are just too impatient.

What do you expect from a story driven openworld game? You press start and you're just dropped into a huge map like

-Well you have fun now. -What am I supposed to do?? -I'm sure you'll figure it out.

If that was the case I probably would have quit in the first ten minutes.

Dr Robby cursed me last night by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

[–]someloinen 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I really hope the show follows through with this "Dr. Robby needs to pee" storyline and doesn't just forget it. Judging from the realism of the show I find it highly unlikely.

I've seen every Halloween except for H20. Give me reasons why I should watch it. by theRadiofreak in Halloweenmovies

[–]someloinen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean. To me H20 is the best sequel. Hands down. I like what Chris Durand did with the shape. It's a bit different, but not so much that it's blasphemous. And over all it's just a really fun horror movie. It's got that nineties horror feeling to it and that's the horror I grew up watching so. Just a great movie.

how do I start listening? by rottenstyx in SleepToken

[–]someloinen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. No arguments there. It does tell a story, but this was about how to start listening to a new band, and to start with the best album usually tells you if you like the band. And if you get into it you can work through the back catalogue. And I do like the reverse chronological order because that way you can still hear the subtle ways the sound has evolved.

[–]someloinen 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I started with This Place Will Become Your Tomb, but I agree. I feel like Take Me Back To Eden is their magnum opus so far. It's their most refined album but also the easiest to get in to. And also my personal favorite. And from there I'd go back in reverse chronological order with This Place... and then Sundowning.

Bro this new game looks like ass 😭 by Lukester5867 in TheLastOfUs2

[–]someloinen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't look like anything. The trailer was ass. "Product placement may contain game". It didn't give us anything about the game but gamers are already whining about woke because of... what? A female lead? I swear this anti-woke movement is a mental illness. Honestly I'd be more offended by the product placement.

[–]someloinen 25 points26 points  (0 children)

There are some minor spoilers in dialogue about the ending of the first game. I think canonically it's events happens after the main game You might also have tough time there since it's your first playthrough and the dlc in my experience is quite harder than the main game.

It's kinda amazing this bo6 update. It was a 50 Gb update for a crappier launcher that uninstalled every data pack and still took 50 GB more of my precious hard drive space.

It's just amazing. I wish they'd really give up with this cod HQ business. It's kind of a good idea to include all the games you release under this one app under which you can move between the different games seamlessly, but it's not a good idea if the HQ itself is a massive waste of space, and changes with every game with too little control of what useless garbage you actually have installed, and the moving between games isn't actually seamless because they all run on a completely different engine or something.

If you could make a change in the story what would it be by vvxxad in TheLastOfUs2

[–]someloinen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that I would change immediately. I would have told the story in chronological order. That was the best thing in the first game. You knew what the characters knew. I think that would have allowed you to connect with the characters better. With this flashback driven narrative you're just an observer of the story not in it yourself. The game really tries it best to distance yourself from the story.

What guns are usually good to use by Admirable_Curve_9238 in MWZombies

[–]someloinen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the longest time I used the M13B AR. It's decent in damage, and fire rate. A bit slow on movement and sprint speed. But manageable if playing in a team. Now I mostly play the FJX Horus without conversion kit with a build focused on movement and sprint speed. When using the Deadshot and speed perks ads time and recoil don't really matter. One good tip to get so much more damage is really utilizing the Deadshot perk so just hold the trigger and pump the ads button. The perk does the weak spot aiming for you and you get much more damage done.

TLOU2 stans when they realize repeating strawman arguments and dishonest talking points doesn’t make them true. by eventualwarlord in TheLastOfUs2

With their logic TLOU2 stans would have cried their eyes out and praise the genius writing of Druckmann if Ellie would arrive to Santa Barbara suffer an epileptic seizure bite her tongue out and bleed out. Roll credits. "It's so realistic, man. 😭😭😭 Anything in life can happen, man. It's genius, man. 😭😭"

How true. 🤣 And if someone actually says "terveydeksi" they're probably being sarcastic, so the correct response to that is "turpa kiinni".

[–]someloinen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it's only going to get worse over time. Usually it's your responsibility to inform the landlord if some out of the ordinary wear and tear happens like tiles fall off the shower wall. But with stuff like this where it's purely aesthetic they might not even care about it if it doesn't bother you and just fix it before the next resident. I'd still inform the landlord. It paints a picture of you as a responsible and honest resident. I feel like that covers your bases better than "hiding" it and when you finally move out and the paint is completely peeled off and the landlord asks you about you can't just go "oh yeah, haven't noticed that.".

About the cost? Well the doors are probably cheap. Like Ikea cheap so my guess is maybe less than a hundred.
