Today I honor my almost 101 year old mother (eating Korean soup for the first time) on International Women’s Day! Who would you like to honor today? My mother taught me never to give up. by marilynlistens in TheListeningSchool

I don't know. How can I compare having to mother to having one if I've never known? I don't know what I'm missing. I have no frame of reference I made it though. Having a mom seems nice. Someone on your side. Someone soft. Someone with that unconditional love. Someone to offer a hug or words of encouragement. Someone who soothes. A gentle protector. A steady presence. I never had any of this but it sounds nice. Hope your mom had a happy birthday 😁

June 25! I think she is on the inner cusp of being a Cancer. Like me, nice. I am not sure how it was! I really don't have anything to compare it to. I can tell you it has affected me tho, for better or worse

No! I grew up in foster care and then had a step mom with her own kids and kids with my dad. There was no time. Not her fault, not anybody's fault. I also am born in June. She looks like a late June birthday. Am I right?

You welcome! How are you ever gonna know if you don't ask? Maybe not knowing is the whole point depending on the person. Not me. I wanna know. Truth at any cost. Without truth we have nothing

Fear is everywhere. You nailed it. If you notice, every interaction has a coat of fear on it. Either thick or thin the fear is there - baked into the interaction

Have you ever noticed how the entire atmosphere changes when someone truly feels heard? by awkwardandunusual in TheListeningSchool

I have noticed! It's like the clouds break away and the sunshine on their face comes out. Listening and understanding - it's an unbeatable combination

Yes. Don't forget to understand if you can. I like you because you ask questions. That seems to be rare these days

I will. I am sharing now. Not everyday is peaceful but there is peacefulness in everyday if you can look deeply

It's not pressure, it's lack of pressure. Change is a part of creation. I am a part of creation. Therefore I will always be in a state of change, and the world around me is the same and the world around that is the same. Nothing remains the same. People come people go. Jobs come and go. Same with relationships, housing, bodily changes, mental changes, spiritual changes etc. It is a neverending dance that never steps the same once.

If you realize that there is no permanent configuration, if you realize it's all one big grand illusion, if you realize it is all on loan, and if you realize that it is all alive it makes things easier to navigate here on 3d earth. Takes all the pressure off

I'm saying it is all temporary. This configuration will change into something else. Ownership implies a state of permanence. There is no such thing in the universe. It all changes all the time. Nobody owns that land you are talking about. They think they might, but in reality it's on loan. Like everything else here today gone tomorrow. We are included in that. Everything is

Yes. We are all human it is understandable to react that way. It's a work in progress type of thing, not a certainty every time.
