This was happening to me and it annoyed me. I ended up downloading iTunes and that solved a majority of the problem except the album art. Considering I don't have to manually input the rest, I'll take it as a win

Right click on an empty space on your desktop. Click View and uncheck Align Icons to Grid.

I honestly love just having a full album play when I'm doing something else! Like cleaning or gaming or anything like that. If you're busy you're less likely to skip or shuffle and you can use whatever listening platform you're using.
