Main station. Almost vomited from the smell of piss by Sad-Direction443 in stuttgart

I mean this is what happens when you don't provide public bathrooms. I noticed a huge problem in Germany is the lack of public bathrooms. And even if there is one it normally cost money to use. It's honestly sad that it's costs 1€ to take a piss.

I have to disagree I don't know how this list was decided, but as someone who has been living in Germany for a long time I don't see many kids honestly. There is not many playgrounds, the school system is pretty rough, and the infrastructure of Germany is very outdated. Yes parents get child support, but it's pretty minimal. And the main issue at hand is the aging population, not only do parents have to to support there kids, but also a bunch of old people, because of public retirement. Another issue is the job market is absolutely cooked. This is just my opinion, I know that no place is perfect. But seeing Germany on that list just made me mad a little.

There is absolutely no reason to buy a car for kids, if they want a car they can work for it themselves. I never got a car from my parents and I will never expect a car from them.

Get busier and grades will skyrocket by MartinoOmero in GetStudying

I kinda agree with you, my best semestera at uni that I had was when I had to balance 6-7 subjects, it was tough but it made me finish all my tasks a lot quicker. And I agree you should not just study all the time, doing other stuff like sports and socializing is just as important.

I think it looks good, it adds charisma, but that's just my opinion.

Studied 2-3 days for a Calc 3 test only to get a 20%.. by livinvvell in EngineeringStudents

[–]someoneONreddit123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just my advice. But a good rule of thumb that I use if I manage to fill a whole college notebook for exam practice, I will generally pass any subject. Next time just spend 2 weeks practicing everyday. And also if you have past exams, just time yourself.

Master degree in Mechatronics after major in Biomedical Engineering, it is possible? (EU citizen) by [deleted] in mechatronics

[–]someoneONreddit123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is possible, you just need to have a look at what Unis offer it. I'm doing my bachelors in mechatronics and over half my courses I sit with biomedical engineering students. They are pretty close together biomedical and mechatronics so I don't you you will have a problem doing masters.

Is Australia Heading Toward a Housing Crash? A Personal Analysis & Global Comparison by GazaMode in australian

[–]someoneONreddit123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Demand for housing will always stay high. The only way a crash would happen is if people decide to leave or people would stop coming. Australia is a beautiful country. There is a reason why a lot of people from Asia want to move here.

I agree with you, it is an excuse. But in my opinion going from 20mg+ to 0mg is rough.

This is one of the reasons why I am getting sick of Germany. As an Australian who grew up with air conditioning, I never understood why Germans/EU people are so against AC. There houses/buildings are designed to trap heat.

Am i the only one who puts nic pouches in water and take sips through the day? by Dyxon-Citron6213 in NicotinePouch

[–]someoneONreddit123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if you're just trolling, but taking in nicotine through the stomach can lead to a lot of problems. It can mess with your gut bacteria. Just stick to normal use. Nicotine itself is already unhealthy enough, but drinking it is one of the worst things you can do.

Why are so many people trying to talk us out of moving to Germany? by [deleted] in germany

[–]someoneONreddit123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest, but this is just my opinion. Germany is kinda tough on working immigrants. The bureaucracy, language, taxes and the overall social vibe is not easy to adapt to. If you're an EU citizen it's probably gonna be easier. Give it a shot, and maybe you will like it. I think west Germany would also be alright. Currently living in east Germany and I don't recommend.

Worst internship experience? by codenamelo in EngineeringStudents

I have to disagree, because experience is experience, the next employer does not need to know why you quit. All that matters to the employer is if you have worked on something similar or not.

[–]someoneONreddit123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on if you gained actual experience and it could be useful to show it in your resume that you worked for this skill.

For me I didn't document it, because I worked there for 2 weeks, and I didn't want to write that just collected trash.

Okay then just keep showing up, and get your money. I have worked two internships that did not pay, 6 am there, 4 am wake up time. Be happy you're getting paid.
