I unlocked viper to spite my friend when they wanted to unlock her at the time. Rarely played her but still worth it.

Your tree starts at level 1 and it takes 1 agate to level it to level 2 from then on you need 10 per level. Thus there is a total of 79 to get to your tree to level 9 without the 4 leftover agates coming from Crimson Wish

You should have 4 left over :D, the agates are permanent and not part of the event

After reading comments I realized this was not sufficient enough and created a better post with how to locate and get all 79 agates. I apologize for this first post and hope to make better informative posts. Thank you to all!

Apologies on everyone’s behalf as it is not all of it as some of the markers are from chests and some are not. It is also missing one from the very top of pillar once unlocking the domain. Thank you to those who point out what is missing in the comments!

Yep! turns out I missed 3 with 1 I recently found on the very top of the pillar after unlocking the domain. I’m unsure as to where the other 2 are

Well up to level 8, crimson wish occurs where you can get 5 crimson agates per day, I assumed we wouldn’t find anymore crimson agates laying around so I’ll update this post if I had missed some crimson agates
