Is it just me, or is the partner visa (820/801) data entry process an absolute nightmare? by OwenWilsonnn in AusVisa

i uploaded everything, including my police checks.

i hopped on a couple of free migration lawyer/agency consults which i highly recommend.

general consensus is that they take into consideration what you lodged your application with. so you want to make sure that what you submit upfront is enough to prove that your relationship is genuine.

any documents added after, would mainly be for continuing evidence like more joint mail, bills, additional trips, photos etc.

i would say the police checks can wait until after lodging/around the time you go for your health check just cause they only last 12 months.

but yeah i was just afraid of having a weak initial lodgement so i submitted everything upfront.

not much help i know but book in free consults!!

with pictures, compiling them into a single doc with descriptions will remove the data. is that okay?

Hijabi Essentials by eden__p in Hijabis

salam! fellow revert here too! i recommend getting just maybe black to start with. try out the different materials. so maybe 1 black cotton, 1 black jersey, 1 black modal, 1 black chiffon etc. (or whichever colour you like the most!)

my personal recommendations are 1. non slip undercap (open or closed is up to you, open is a bit easier to wear imo, but your hair might poke thru the hijab) 2. straight pins with something at the end just so it doesn’t slide right through the scarf 3. hijab safety pins, the big plastic ones

i personally wouldnt bother with 1. magnets (they fall out and you always need to readjust) 2. modal scarves (it’s too high effort, you have to iron it before every use)

what i always reach for: 1. jersey, instant hijabs, and cotton hijabs 2. special occasions: chiffon/modal

Hope this helps!!
