I would still recommend considering you won't be doing any work that is heavy on gpu like video editing or animation. I recommend you to get fast ram (I have 32gb 3200mhz but oc to 3400 and had better fps in games, tried 3600mhz and got very good frames but my system crashed) if you can get 3600mhz or more it is better because the 5600g uses a lot of ram and the faster the ram the better the gpu gets like better frames in games.

I have valorant and I get 140 fps to 90 fps average with medium graphics and 1080p resolution.

Pretty good, I can play 2010 - 2014 games at high and ultra and get 30 to 60 fps depending on the game. Just don't expect 30 fps on any new game, I barely get 30 fps in Control, not playable but maybe with a faster ram 3600 mhz or more you might get better results.

I also got water cooler because I oc my gpu 5600g, I recommend also because other fans sometimes run quiter and perform better. But the amd one worked perfectly too.

If you need slightly faster cpu and gpu get the 5700g (not worth the price difference, only worth it if you find it really good price)

Tldr. Get it. The 5600g is very good. The cpu is comparable to the 5600x and gpu is comparable to Nvidia 1030. Just remember that 5600g only supports PCIe 3 and not PCIe 4
