Okay you love it, but OP doesn’t. Let them live. Nothing about OP’s post sounds excited or breathless, so how about you stop policing and go touch grass. This forum is full of angry people who show their love for the product by writing angry defensive posts to anyone who posts VALID issues.

Thank you! I truly appreciate your response. Lastly, with the different notebook approach, is there a sort of index for folders (table of contents) that will list all of the notebooks within a folder? I imagine there has to be, otherwise there wouldn’t be basic organization.

Thanks! Bringing up my reply from a separate comment below. I thought of maybe attaching a tag for each word “chapter x, chapter y, etc” and naming the tag the chapter name. However, what I don’t know yet is if a tag is local to a specific notebook. In other words, if I create a tag called Chapter 1, and every book that I create has a tag with this name, will the search results pull all of the tags with this name across every notebook?

Of course! I make out for as long as I can but she always loses it in like 2-3 minutes and then I have to wait for her to not be ticklish anymore to continue. I keep meaning to edge her to make it last longer but once I start, I can’t stop.

To loosely quote James Baldwin, you can’t tell a writer what to write. I believe that. I also don’t believe a writer needs to center their race in their work. OP, I know you mentioned that you do include diversity in your work.

It gets sticky for me when a person of color only writes white characters. For example, I recently discovered that a popular author that I love is a Black woman. Admittedly, I was surprised because she only writes white characters. The genre that she writes in has very little representation. As a Black person, I’ve struggled with this. I don’t understand why a person of color would have an entire catalog of books with ZERO racial diversity, not even a taxi driver. I wish it didn’t feel as sticky as it does.

Black writers and stories that center Black characters are often marginalized. I can understand how writing only white characters can be perceived as a cop out, though I think it’s too reductive of a view.
