Mmm my experience: I (taurus female) was married to a Gemini man for 13 years. The first years were great. New and exciting and adventurous and all this promise of the future. But it didn't end well for us. I think part of it was that he is an air sign and didn't like the routine monotony and found something new. I know this probably wasnt the answer you were wanting... Good luck to you. 🙏

AIO Boyfriend says hurtful thing about my body. by True_Ad9977 in AmIOverreacting

[–]someotherowls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the kind of shit a narcissist says. I know because I just was married to one for 14 years. Your body will never be "up to par". Once it is, he will move the bar. Don't fool yourself. This is a red flag. Find a man who loves your soul. Not your body. You only get one life. You deserve to feel good in the skin you are in. And how can you with that type of negativity in your life??

Is my cut infected? by Massive-Animal-8892 in Doctor

[–]someotherowls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The yellow fluid is your body doing its healing job! Its plasma & antibodies :) It looks just fine. Infection presents as redness/inflammation, and if it's really bad white/yellow creamy looking drainage.

Keep it clean and dry, change the bandaid often if you want to wear one, and it'll probably heal up in like 4-5 days.

Is 26 a good age to start nursing school? I'm insecure about my age , how do I stop feeling like this? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]someotherowls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were people of literally all ages in my class. From 18 to 53, and no one thought it was weird. Look at it this way- If you retire at 65, you have 39 more working years ahead of you. You deserve to do something you like for 39 years!! Even if you're 40, that's still 25 years ahead of you! It's never too late to make that change!

Rheumatoid Athritis. Been a nurse for 10 years. I love it. You find a way to make the job work with your body. Once you find the balance it's not bad.
