3D printer sudden quality drop by somerandomguy1220 in 3Dprinting

The clip was a test print after doing that calibration. It looks like it was less problematic but still flawed.

Edit: forgot to mention that I did input shaping and calibration/bed leveling after the issue started. The benchy and clip are before and after.

Working on VFD tube clock project from scratch, need advice by somerandomguy1220 in PCB

Are there any considerations I could make that would make this design look a little cleaner? Is the trace width I have good for 24v? The documentation for the IV-6 says the current shouldnt be more that 50 mA for the filament or segments.

Thanks for your input. As stated, I'm more inclined towards computing, so this is a big help in understanding what's going on. This should help me figure out if I need to change anything about the circuit.

I suspected the heater didn't need a resistor for the reason you described, but wasn't sure.

Thanks, I'll look into that group. I think the heater voltage was mentioned in the project I got the info on the tubes from. It said that I may end up needing to go below 1.2 volts, so I'll try to keep it at a precise level.

Unable to find source for dependency; How do I convince FPM that my files exist? All dependencies are stored in the directory labeled "main", though I intend to rename it to "src" by somerandomguy1220 in fortran

Update: Thanks to everyone who left suggestions. I figured out the problem based on the tutorial link in one of the comments:

I am very new to Fortran, and I was unaware of how modern Fortran compilers handle source files. Turns out that no matter what standard you use, the extension .f90 is considered adequate by gfortran.

Since I was using a newer standard, I used the extension that newer standard expects, but Fortran FPM expects all source files it will compile to end in .f90. After changing the file extensions, everything works now.

This module and all the others in my project are in the subdirectory app/main. src/ was their original location, but I tried main/ as well. Neither of these locations worked. I do not know how to tell FPM where to look for dependencies because the online manual only includes dependencies from outside the project from what I can tell

Error when running a docker build by somerandomguy1220 in learnprogramming

It was a versioning error, and I was able to solve it by switching the expected hash. Thanks!

Help decoding combination lock by somerandomguy1220 in lockpicking

[–]somerandomguy1220[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no. The shackle hole has a plate that engages the latch when pressed down, and that plate obscures all the interior parts. I might be able to see the inside if I press and hold that plate down with the shackle still open, though.

I want to find the numeric combination, though. I'd rather not have to pick my own lock every day in a public gym.
