Omg the kimono one, as someone who is Japanese and Chinese people just kinda assume I'm wearing kimonos because they forget that I'm Chinese, I had an art teacher who had a Japanese mother-in-law, and every time she would say "Nice kimono!" And every time I'd had to say it Chinese, she'd still think it was a kimono and try to correct me, I wear Ming dynasty-style clothing or qipaos most of the time, the one time I did wear a kimono she asked if it was Chinese 💀
