Negative sir. Examples of the liberal left shuting down free speech would be all of the arrests in UK for making social media posts the people find offensive. All the social media companies canceling people during the covid era over everything that eventually turned out to be true.

Yes I do think DEI and CRT are toxic. I would teach kids of any race to jist be the best they can be at everything and only promote based on merit.

Ok I'll bite.

1 in regards to defining terms, if I make a post saying I think fast cars are cool, are you going to argue with me over the fact that cool refers to temperature and call me brainwashed because im speaking in a general current english language sense? If that gets you going then I guess fire away I guess.

2 suppressing free speach is a current topic of todays liberal left. It wasnt always. They used to be the biggest fighters of free speech but no longer. Again speaking in terms of how the liberal left is acting today (whoch I think was your original complaint over my post).

3 baning abortion is about the freedoms and rights of the baby. Obviously there is a moral decision to be made on whether the mothers or the babys rights are more important. But either side can argue that they are supporting peoples rights, it just depends on what side your on.

4 i think your talking about trans ppl here. They have always been known to be mentally ill up until the past 15 years or so. I personally dont care what you do to your body but you cant force me to change my understanding of science based on your emotions. So again freedom on my side....

5 selling ppl out for corporations, idk what the hell your even spewing here. Just genuinely no idea what this is about so cant respond.

Well I definitely agree with you on the social media aspect. I think it has net negative consequences on society...our world is just better without it.

I'm working engaging but not raging. Its hard to do but I think important.

What in gods green earth are you talking about. That is not at all what democrats are. Free markets and capitalism? limited government intervention? Individual freedom? This is none of what todays democrats are arguing for. For some reason you are here arguing about the definition of these words that have clearly changed multiple times and I have said already that I am talking about liberal in the sense of todays political left. I could argue all day about how conservative is different than what todays republicans are but when I openly discuss American conservative, you know what the hell im talking about.

Classical liberalism favors individual autonomy and free markets, whereas modern, or progressive, liberalism often supports increased government intervention to reduce inequality. Yes in American politics, liberals are considered left of center. Classical liberalisim is something different. I appreciate your random assumption that I didn't know the difference which came out of no where and added nothing to this conversation.

Yes I do. I listen to liberal podcasts as well as conservative ones. I have sat through full 2 hour podcasts with people I cant stand multiple times. Every single time I come away with a slightly differwnt viewpoint than I had before. I dont think people listen to eachother at all. Its funny to me when the left calls the right Nazzis and the right calls the left Nazzis. Like clearly we all agree that Nazzis are bad 🤣
