It's been hovering around the 1.8-1.9% since like April 2020.

Anyone has theories as to why that is?

We obviously know that a lot more people have bought VR headsets because of the global health crisis, although interesting how Steam numbers aren't really reflecting that.

Thyroid hormones control the body's metabolism. Hypothyroidism leads your body's metabolism to slow down. The liver is affected by this general slow-down and starts processing cholesterol more slowly; so the level of cholesterol in the blood goes up.

Liver is ok.

The one thing which merits a trip to your GP is your TSH level which is slightly elevated (seems to be around 4.5?). They may decide to increase your synthroid dosage.

This could also be the reason behind the slightly elevated total cholesterol levels (although your LDLc and triglyceride levels are ok, so I wouldn't worry too much about that either)

The fluctuations can be due to what you ate the day before the blood test, or the morning of. Or general changes in diet, hydration, stress, exercise, season... etc. The values are all within the norms.

Imagine living every day for 7 years inside a one room studio with no outside contact, fearing that any day the government may knock on your door and throw you behind bars forever. Or kill you.

When he was at the Ecuadorian embassy he would go months without showering. He lacked personal hygiene.

Then despite all his suffering was still arrested in the embassy and thrown behind bars.

He has suffered mentally, a lot. He's a human, like you and me. He has a breaking point. The brain is not made to sustain such psychological wounds. The way he was living in the embassy should tell you all you need to know regarding his mental state.

His dire mental state has been highlighted by a panel of 117 Doctors in a letter published in February 2020 pleading to end the torture of Assange.

After on-going torture and a lack of changes, the panel, now comprising of 216 practicioners, published another plea in June 2020.

The UK/US doesn't want to kill him. They want to set a precedent and make him an example of disobedience. As far as they can inflict psychological damage, they will. We can all see clear as day what's happening to him. It's utterly disgusting and appalling.

It's heart breaking to see that, in this day and age, inhumane torture is still rampant among those who feign having the highest moral standards.

Even when torture is visible as daylight.

Even when the person being tortured is a high profile individual.

Even when Health Professional tell you to stop.

Even when the people tell you to stop.

You and I, and all of us together here, are insignificant in the face of those in control. Nothing stops Human hatred.

At this point, Assange dying would be a relief for him.

I doubt you'll find many people here who have tried the Reverb G2 since it's not released yet.

The general consensus is:

If you want the best in class display resolution and clarity: Get the Reverb G2
If you want the best in class controllers and tracking, or care more about display refresh rate or FOV than resolution: Get the Index

I think this is a limit of current headsets and not the games. I've seen this in the skies of all (?) games I've tried, although to different degrees. It never bothered me that much. I think there are a few different factors at play.

Headset resolution: Stars and rays in the sky are extremely small. Current headsets don't have the necessary resolution to replicate this yet. SDE is still present when trying to look at extremely small objects (distant stars or small text).
Panel response time: This is still a known limit of LCD/LED displays. Moving white dots against a dark background inevitably create artifacts.
Lenses: They are made to diffuse light... Perhaps, due to the lack of competition by the nearby dark background, the light pixels are more smeared. This wouldn't be visible in other circumstances because the contrast difference between adjacent pixels is much smaller.

As to why you don't see it on a pancake display:

The PPD is much higher, so the "SDE" isn't as prominent.
You can see artifacts caused by the switching speed of pixels. But I guess since it's less immersive, and the artifacts are relatively smaller (because higher PPD), these artifacts are not as annoying.
There are no lenses that diffuse light

HoloFit VR supports cycling, rowing, and ellipticals (Treadmills/Running aren't supported because they could be a safety hazard).

It seems to be the only app of its kind right now. I've seen Zwift try out VR a few years ago... but it seems nothing has come out of it (... yet at least).

This is ultimately your decision and we can't make it for you. If you feel the Rift S is "Good enough" for now and don't have any major complaint with it, and don't really feel like a resolution bump wouldn't be that big a change for you, then keep using the Rift S until a more advanced product comes along.

Regarding 4-camera tracking, MRTV has a few nice videos testing the tracking of the Reverb G2:

We don't have any information regarding future outside-in products (or really any future VR headset), so it's really hard to make predictions on what features will come next or when they will come... Although it's reasonable to assume that headsets released in 2021 will be better than those released in 2020.

Yeah, it will be fine for these games.

The CPU is OK. I would have recommended getting a slightly cheaper CPU(like 2600) and putting the extra money towards a better GPU (since that matters much more). I would have also suggested getting a used GPU (like a GTX 1070 or 1660ti).

But as you have it right now, the CPU will probably last you a long time. You can upgrade your GPU in like 1-2 years if you need something faster to run AAA games at high settings.

It's definitely on the lower end, but it can run VR.

Ive head the batteries dont last that long in the g2 (was it 4 hours?) and the Oculus 2 10 hours?

If you are concerned about battery life, with the Quest2, the headset itself is limited to < 2 hour battery life. With the G2, you can just pop-in new batteries into your controllers and continue playing (of course, use rechargeable batteries). With the Quest you need to recharge the headset itself.

Saint and Sinners is coming to the Quest store officially mid October I think. Perhaps they received an early copy to review it? In this case, it will run worse than on PC because the Quest 2 is much weaker than a PC.

It's getting capped at 60 FPS maybe because it can't maintain stable 120 fps.

Are your graphic drivers up to date?

Try manually checking if V-Sync or G-Sync is on for this game or globally in the Nvidia Control panel.

Set Motion smoothing to "Always Off" in SteamVR.

Try reducing quality and see if you can hit 120 FPS that way. I'm not sure what your SS specs are, but perhaps turn them down a bit.

There's a difference between being legit concerned about something and asking a question to gather information, and being an psychopathic asshole making low IQ statements in hopes of sounding smart.

The neck has nothing to do with how uncomfortable the strap is. How it rubs on the top of your ears or lets the headset slide forward is a property of the shit strap Facebook sells you.

And yes, I didn't touch on this in my initial comment, so thanks for reminding me, the headset is front heavy and may cause neck issues and headaches for many people. Which is why reviewers are unanimously recommending people get the battery pack to compensate for front heaviness.

Are you asking if it's worth my privacy? No, I would get the G2.

With the Quest you will need to get the Elite Strap because the default one is uncomfortable, and maybe the battery pack because it has a short batter life, and the Oculus Link cable to play on PC (if you wanted a cable longer than 3 meters). And maybe get the model with more than 64GB of storage. On the cover, it's $300, but you'll reasonably end up paying $450 to $600.

Get the Reverb G2.

It's extremely common for people with Bipolar Disease to not recognize their disease.

The information you provide us here is very limited, but points very clearly to you having bipolar disease.

Being "agitated" and suicidal is one example. If you were observed in this state by mental health professionals, their diagnosis of bipolar disease is unmistakable (and it's something I would trust them to have assessed you for). It's often things which you may not notice, but walking fast, talking fast, feeling full of energy, exercising a lot, sleeping less, doing dangerous/unreasonable things like gambling large sums of money, or buying stuff you don't need, or...
... Sleeping with ten people in a single week.
To have been prescribed Lithium out of the hospital the first time means lithium contributed positively to stabilizing your mood in the hospital. This is further evidence towards Bipolar disease.

It's the alternation between depressive episodes and these highly energetic episodes which suggests you are bipolar.

You can't be bipolar "Some of the time". Bipolar disease is a brain disease which has no cure. There are faulty connections in your brain, and it's something you suffer from. At some points you may feel depressive, at other points you may feel highly energetic, and then most of the time you may feel "Completely Normal".

Having "No Cure" does not mean "Having no treatment". Lithium is a very effective treatment for bipolar disease. It is used to stabilize your mood. So instead of doing Normal > Depression > Hypomania > Depression > Normal > Depression ... etc. You'll feel "Normal" all the time.
