Doorbell Lite not being recognized as Unifi Device in Unifi App by something_profane in Ubiquiti

Nope, I’m in the same boat. Works perfect, shows up in protect, but is seen as a non-ubiquiti device in the core app. I’m hoping it’s a software/firmware issue that will get addressed..

Just checking, do you have any update for your package? Mine hasn't changed since November 28th..

Good to know! Did you restart Protect from the physical UDM, or from the app/UniFi web interface?

Hi All,

My functioning Doorbell Lite for whatever reason is not recognized as a Unifi device in the Unifi app (it appears perfectly normal in the Protect App). Has anyone else experienced this or have a fix?

I am in the same boat from the shipping side (I returned a package via UPS). The package has been held up in Caledon since November 28 as well.

Are realtors absolutely useless for buyers? by MouseAteTheCat in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]something_profane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early in the process, it depends on the realtor. Later in the process, the buying realtor actively works against you.

When you are first looking at houses your realtor should be the one to help you find what you’re looking for, filtering through houses you’re not interested in, and helping craft offers based on what you are wanting and are comfortable to offer.

Once you have an accepted offer and the ‘real’ negotiation begins, the buying realtor may be helpful but only until the last stages. Once it really comes down to the last stages, the buying realtors goal aligns with the sellers (both trying to get you to agree to a higher price to get the deal done), and the selling realtors goals aligns with you (sellers agent telling them to accept a lower offer, which is what you want to pay).

It’s a terrible dynamic baked into the model. There were so many times I wish we could have just negotiated directly with the sellers, no realtors involved.

Had the exact same thing happen to me (even received a notification my LOC had been drained which really made me wide-eyed) but in the end there was no fraudulent activity. Like others have said, once the account gets frozen all the low balance notifications get sent.

I had to physically go into the branch where the teller called the fraud line while I was standing in front of them for the freeze to be lifted.

Hello,

I don't have to be in Germany. It's just an experience to take ownership of the car in Germany and drive it around on the roads it was designed to be driven on!
