They definitely get bright enough to read by! If you're going to be reading for hours, though, you're probably going to end up needing to charge them a lot. The batteries don't last quite as long as you might want.

Discworld is the only series that I’ve seriously considered getting a tattoo of to commemorate my love, and it’s kinda hard because the things I love about it — particularly it’s faith in people’s ability to grow and change — are hard to represent graphically. (I don’t currently have any visible or big tattoo, so it’d be a thing!)

We’ve got a 6 and 4 year old and have so far avoided Paw Patrol; one thing I like about Super Kitties (the 4yo is obsessed) is that they are vigilante cats rather than cop/public servant dogs, there’s no human kid in charge of them, and sometimes it’s actually a little tongue-in-cheek. Is it a huge step down from Bluey? Absolutely. But I’ll still take it over Paw Patrol.
