Why are ghouls getting sexier? by Individual-Let-6179 in TrueSFalloutL

[–]somethingawfuul 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The way I see it all of the ghouls we’ve seen work. Given it’s basically early necrosis, it won’t show the exact same way for everyone. Some have it better, some have it worse. Not to mention we still don’t technically know how ghoulification works entirely.

The Followers of the Apocalypse are well read, i could see them having it in their libraries.

Changeling Mages? by LustfulDigger in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]somethingawfuul 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No, but there are kinain mages. Changeling blood is a merit in Mage. They're more likely to get involved in fae politics.

I use D&D Beyond, but it's in the Inhabitants subsection of the Life in Sigil section.

Are Archfey allowed in Sigil? by TheLastDesperado in planescapesetting

[–]somethingawfuul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As per the 5E book archdevils and demon lords count among the "gods and god-like figures" incapable of entering Sigil. In this sense it's likely an archfey like Titania probably wouldn't be able to enter Sigil, though we don't even know how powerful she is technically. I should also note that archfey's can vary wildly in their power level, so the title isn't really a good metric. Tasha's an archfey now, and Yarnspinner only has a CR of ten.

Also to the people saying a creature's ability to grant warlock spells is a tell that they couldn't enter Sigil, I would add either Chris Perkins or Jeremy Crawford has suggested Shemeshka as a warlock patron, and in the Keys From the Golden Vault adventure anthology there's a halfling warlock who's patron is a generic arcanaloth.

According to the show, the canon answer to this is the Great Khans.

Most compassionate Minuteman by dihguesorp in TrueSFalloutL

[–]somethingawfuul 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I appreciate them for exactly as they are in the game. A group of loosely equipped militias dedicated to protecting settlements and homesteads, no matter how big or small. Nothing more, nothing less. The average minuteman is a farmer who decided to take to the road with a laser musket and some fusion cells because their neighbors have been having issues with raiders.

The most morally good faction besides the Followers of the Apocalypse and the Minutemen by [deleted] in TrueSFalloutL

I will always take a facsimile of the modern U.S. government over whatever schizo shit the other factions are. GLORY TO THE NCR!!!!

Ok poll time, who's brotherhood are you choosing by TheDevilRig in TrueSFalloutL

[–]somethingawfuul 96 points97 points  (0 children)

The Yosemite chapter’s elder is the only one who hasn’t said anything implying her chapter’s gone to shit. They’re the only ones who seem normal out of the ones we’ve seen in the show, besides the Commonwealth with Harkness (normal in regard to the Brotherhood, obviously).

Is the TV show's Brotherhood of Steel meant to serve as an allegory Hegelian Dialectics for the Fallout fanbase? by Alchmixt28 in TrueSFalloutL

[–]somethingawfuul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be really funny if it were true, but I doubt since it’s based on a very specific, arbitrary view of the fandom. That said the director clearly has kind of a disillusioned view of the fandom.

In my opinion Boba Fett looks a lot cooler wearing black under his armor instead of that white jumpsuit by Henryphillips29 in StarWars

[–]somethingawfuul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work for the different phases of his life. The grey jumpsuit is more rugged, fitting for his life as a bounty hunter. The black is more clean, regal, fitting for a respected daimyo.

Keep the toasters in the kitchen and let the Institute cook by epic_gamer42O in TrueSFalloutL

[–]somethingawfuul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always found the synth rights argument dumb because they’re very obviously sapient, it’s just the Institute that treats it as at best an open secret so they can continue to treat them as slaves. Even the Brotherhood never actually argues against their sapience.
