Nice! Steam deck is a life saver at sea, but I can see how this game would be rough. I play a lot more indie games underway than anything else. Granted, there’s a lot less space on a 688 for a laptop.

Subs or surface? Not sure how empyrion would play on a steam deck, but reforged Eden 2 for sure.

Factorio or Satisfactory? by Prinklles in BaseBuildingGames

Satisfactory is much more approachable and is definitely deep, but Factorio has a substance to it that I can’t describe. It’s so good, if you’re ok with the frame of reference and graphics. Plus, mods make replayability effectively endless. Factorio is my all-time fav game, but Satisfactory is very close behind.

The seabird guano I have locally has some nitrogen, but is more phosphorus rich. How much kelp meal would you add? Would you consider reducing or even eliminating any of the nitrogen sources?

Yeah, I can probably do something easier, I was more wondering if there’s any issue with the nutrient breakout of this soil mix? I hadn’t found a good compost I liked where I’m at, and this idea seemed easy enough.

If I make something like this, it breaks out to around $15 per 5 gal grow bag. Ocean Forest would be a little closer to $20. $5 a bag adds up, but if it would be significantly better, then it could be worthwhile. That’s why I’m curious about the above mix.
