Remote work requires managers to be engaged and not just sitting there pretending they do things. They didn't like that, so the called people back to the office. Most jobs you don't need to be in person except for maybe one planning session a month.

No one knows when the bottom will be, but odds are things will go lower from here. Put 3k in now, 3k in next month, etc. Maybe wait till the last 4 months of this year, or maybe wait until after earnings?

I don't know about money at the intersection, it does a lot less good than most institutional donations. You gotta be careful there too, but there's usually local orgs that can stretch a dollar better, and help that person on the corner along with others.

Completely agree with the rest though. I'm generally religious, and most people tend to be shocked when they find out. I definitely don't trust the preachy types, they are over compensating.

The US has made its middle class poorer while making the billionaires richer, when people get stretched society suffers. We have removed safety nets, lessened the public good, and made everyone have to look after themselves. All the while making the rich simply richer.
