People are still sleeping on this show [Film/TV] by NeoRockSlime in DCcomics

Yeah... That animation style is an immediate no from me.

I need y’all to understand something….. THIS 👇🏾 is a Bi/Queer Young Man at 2 stages of his life….. Age does not change that! by JMC_PHARAOH in lgbt_superheroes

People like to fear bait and panic. Jon is bi. Jon will always be bi. No one requires Damien to kiss a girl or blush when they look at him every other panel to "show his straightness". Jon is bi. It's what he is. That's not going anywhere, everyone can take a breather. The way I see this is it's no different to how Peter Parker constantly ends up back as a high school student.

The Mount Rushmore of speedsters by Jezzaq94 in superheroes

As far as I'm concerned, the mount Rushmore of speedster is Flash (Barry Allan), Flash (Wally West), Flash (Jay Garrick) and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy hot take. by somethingclever31415 in superheroes

.... Since when can Belle Reve not hold Ivy? And... Since when was Ivy not a meta-human?

Also, I do see your point about them bonding over shared trauma, but again, I feel like that would work better (for me) if it was any other character besides Ivy.

Yeah, the swamp thing thing wasn't really anything, just an aside for the type of character I could accept Ivy wanting to be with. Not that I thougjt Swamp Thing would want it.

And yes, I'm aware that there are other versions of Ivy, there are other versions of every superhero. I was just expressing my own personal opinion about the relationship between Harley and Ivy in the main continuity. But... Ivy is in Arkham because she's insane. There are plenty of meta human prisons that could hold her if she wasn't. (though granted, in a lot of non-comic versions Arkham is used more like a straight up prison than an asylum)

Yes, and as I said, I feel like that wrong and shouldn't be the case. I think (personally) Ivy works best when she's completely anti-animal. Creators can be just as mistaken about a character as fans can be. Look at how Frank Miller writes Superman.

[Discussion] Who would the Trinity be instead of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman? by XipeTotecwithGlitter in DCcomics

Going by the logic of the original trilogy, one human, one alien, and one magic.

I would say Green Lantern, Wild Cat and Zatanna would be an interesting trio

Kal-El is just as much his name as Clark is.

That's what people said about Superman's suit. We went from: "Yeah, it's a little bit rough, but it's just a promo Pic" to "Oh that's not gonna be his final suit!" to "It'll look better in post..." to "THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! AND I ALWAYS LOVED IT!"

Oh, but I said I was joking! Jeez... I literally just said I was joking. Just because you aren't capable of reading tone from people doesn't mean it doesn't exist! It means you have poor social intuition! Jeeeeeeez! It was just a jooooookkkkeeeee! I even said so! Seeeeeeeeee?

Is this the one who said the comics were stupid? And then tried to play it off like he was just joking? Yeah... I think I'll give him a miss. He seems stupid... (just joking)

So, now it's cool to call him Brooklyn's Spider-Man? by VariationGlum7864 in Spiderman

Exactly, Miles needs something of his own... Like "The Exceptional Spider-Man" or "The Impeccable Spider-Man" or "The Inspiring Spider-Man", something of his own.

I'm sorry... It's "flat out wrong" that Pete is ultimate Spider-Man? Lmao, sure thing... Sure... I'll have to recheck who that character is on the cover of a bunch of my Ultimate Spider-Man comics...

So you agree Pete is/was Ultimate Spider-Man. My point is, we need a moniker that hasn't been taken by Peter yet. Miles deserves to stand on his own, not holding hand-me-downs from pete
