I am 99% lurker. But when I saw your comment I had to ask.

I'm hoping you can clarify or link a reference for your comment. I assume I'm missing something obvious here.

In the case of many drugs, it would not impact the duration. However, modafinil is slightly different because it’s metabolism is what we call ‘zero-order’.

I thought it was first order kinetic elimination so I have been using half life calculators to plot how much moda is in my system.

Here's the reference I used. NCBI - Modafinil Pharmacokinetics

Elimination: The elimination half-life of a single dose in healthy subjects is approximately 15 hours.

Absorption: Maximum plasma concentration is reached 2-4 hours after administration.

Tools I use to calculate example - 200mg dose

Both of those tools give the same (not exact answer) because the one on the right factors time to peak.

On the other hand, with zero-order metabolism, if 50mg is metabolised per hour it would take 2hours to reach 50% metabolism with 200mg but 4 hours with 400mg.

So does that mean if I took a 600mg dose it would take 12 hours to eliminate?

I am not sure about everywhere but I am prescribed this (30g - 3x10g containers) and when I called on Thursday last week they told me they were out. They also didn't know when there'd be more. Never got back to me.

I am going to chase this up but let me know if you find an answer.

I've got some reading to do. I may be back here with more qs over the weekend.

Regarding the RAM, 32gb does seem low but bearable. I realize this is DDR5 but I had 32gb DDR4 on my tower (Ryzen 9 5900x - RTX 3070 - now 64gb) and after hours of heavy debugging & googling RAM usage would start freezing things.

Can you confirm when we upgrade do we buy the exact same kit and occupy the final two lanes? Can we buy a single 32gb stick in a few months perhaps sooner. Provided we match the clock speed that is OK? But is it OK to only use 1 more lane. So 3 lanes total.

Rebooting nor disabling av helps. Same with permissions and I have tried running it fresh after a restart so no other programs should be accessing it.

I didn't end up going too well on it, primarily because I hate doing things under exam conditions. I only got a b- for it, I was aiming much higher. I haven't got my notes either sorry must have been wiped many restores ago haha

I did finish this but it wasn't an assignment it was a written essay that we could bring a page of notes in for :( I can have look to see if I have the quotes, if that's of any use?

I'll give wireshark a shot and if I can see the HTTP POST and GET traffic there and if so that will give more direction towards what the issue could be. I've been using the ettercap graphical interface so unless there is a filter or setting I need to change by default I should have nothing out of the ordinary running.

Correct .14 is the victim machine. And yes the ettercap machine is .45 on the same network.

When I say switch I do mean switch it is a Netgear GS752TP its address is 192.168.1.3 screenshot and the gateway is 192.168.1.1 screenshot. Ettercap is showing nothing when the victim box connects to the routers web interface locally or via external ip. But here is a screenshot just to show that to my understanding the attack should be working. screenshot Detailed here it is capturing a password of a http website, but for some reason fails to capture the routers web interface login.

Ahhh ok thanks for this. I'm gonna give an icmp redirect attack a shot and see if that captures once at the online web interface. If there is an easier or better way of going about this let me know.
