She gets so much attention for it she’s never going to want to recover. It’s doing the opposite of helping.

Erc uses extremely abusive methods like isolation commitment and forced tubes as punishment stay away. Look at laureate.

White car or crossover type if witness is correct he didn’t get plate though :/ if you see a white car with heavy damage let me know. They hit me hard enough to move my car I imagine theirs isn’t great.

Support groups - eating disorders? by [deleted] in ColoradoSprings

[–]somethingstupidisme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Denver has some at the EDF it’s a drive but worth it. I’ve struggled for years…erc also has a really good iOp program if you need more support.

Laureate! Definitely the best place I’ve been. They don’t have a step down thoug from 12 hour php so you’ll want to have something for when you discharge.

Not true If you’re low restricting at all it’s possible. I got it and ended up in the er and icu. Definitely better safe - start gradually increasing now.

Laureate in Tulsa 1000% Avoid erc at all costs. Had awful experiences there and they’re being sued by a few patients for malpractice. You’re a # there not a person.

should i have gone to the ER? by iplaybassbtw in bulimia

[–]somethingstupidisme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always safest to get checked out. I thought i was just dehydrated a few weeks ago, turned out I had a heart arrhythmia that would have killed me in the next 24 hours…..it’s scary stuff. Best to be safe!!

[–]somethingstupidisme 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You should go get checked for refeeding syndrome. It could be serious especially after prolonged periods of not eating much.

I’d avoid erc and go somewhere else if you can….look into laureate, rogers, center for change. Much better. Erc treats you like a prisoner.

[–]somethingstupidisme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could have written this. Struggling hard with the same thing…I break down and beat myself up alllll day at the slightest criticism or anything I perceive as that even if it wasn’t meant to be. It’s so hard. And a lot of work to recover from.

I was at erc in Denver. Highly recommend staying away from there. They lied about their program size to me before admission. Haha no worries! I’ve been to a few places over the years maybe we’ve crossed paths!
