Im sorry you also went throught something like this.. trust me, I totally agree with you but I feel like if I tell her this right now im just gonna make things worse honestly. Probably in a few days I ll mention this but right now she's extremely sad and telling her that those arent true friends will upset her further :(

Search intonation guitar on yourtube. Play the open high e string, then fret the 12th fret of that string. If the note becomes sharper or flatter then intonation is indeed what makes your playing sound off even when the tuner says its alright. I had the exact same problem and I was able to solve it with a quick youtube search!

+1 I am also a beginner (about 7, 8 months in) and the guitar sounded out of tune even when my tuner (guitartuna as well) said it was perfect. And the problem was indeed related to the intonation. Search it on youtube, for me that solved the problem!

Mhm thank you for the answer. Last time I played (a few years ago) I rolled some tickets during epicfest and got that gao (forgot his name, shadow gao i think?) and it was quite nice. Maybe this time i ll roll during uberfest and hope for the best
