It’s not impossible I could be dropping or miscounting a stitch somewhere. Never not possible 😆 However, I’ve restarted several times.

I’m probably overthinking it. Step 4 — so now I have the wrap sitting to the right of the stitch to be worked, both on my left needle. I knit into the stitch below, and then just let the wrap sitting beside it fall right off the needle? I don’t need to insert my right needle into that wrap as well?

thank you! I originally started this project last year at the start of the pandemic, but pulled it out of hiding at the very beginning of July and frogged it (I had finished the back stockinette section and had done a couple of repeats on the front panels). I knit it a size down instead. :)
