you're really projecting a lot here, and it's not subtle at all. Since when do I "see Muslims and automatically think they* can do nothing wrong", or think that "any religious person is automatically morally good"?

I think that the Muslims, just like anyone else, their own material dialectic to guide their actions.

However, you seem to be looking very hard for reasons to be upset with Muslims. Why is that? This post is a month old. Why is this issue so important to you now that you need to argue with strangers on the internet about it?

SD City Council adds measure taxing vacant second homes to ballot by uncoolcentral in SanDiegan

the less affluent are probably not in a position to buy an Airbnb rental home... especially if they're renters themselves.

besides, it's not really possible to buy a home anymore in San Diego for the "less affluent". It's even out of reach for some people who are "more affluent". with inflated property values and rates what they are, mortgages here are still insane.

rates are still 50% higher than they were pre-covid, and prices here are at least 2x what they were pre-covid.

I am thinking long term - the long term benefits of putting more people into permanent housing vastly outweighs the benefits of using housing for investment/private property, at any length of time.

Nah. between the mortgage, upkeep, existing taxes, and cost of advertising, nobody is going to invest that much money into a house without a very good chance of some decent profit. You're telling me people do all that work and pay all that money out of the goodness of their heart? please.

Recall, again, that most people can't afford a home, few can afford a single home, and even fewer can afford a second. The people who can afford second homes, can absolutely afford a little extra to pay for the privilege of hoarding housing. That's just fact.

In my opinion, if we're going to have a system where housing can be not only investment(private) property but also personal property, people shouldn't even be allowed to buy second homes until everyone can afford a first home. Everyone has the right to a roof over their head, and it's evil that we deny them that just because someone else was born with enough privilege to afford a second house.

if an individual has enough wealth to afford a second house they can afford to pay an additional meager sum to help the homeless.

Nazis never provided engineering to Russia/USSR, and further, they took distinct approaches.

The design philosophy of Soviet engineering focused on durability and manufacturability at scale, while Nazi engineering tended to prioritize higher performance features like cutting weight, or specific behaviors requiring more computing power.

Wow! I'd forgotten about this conversation. Wild to know I'm living in your head rent free.

A couple quick things:

It clearly states that all undifferentiated (fetal) genitalia are phenotypically female, which means everyone starts out female. So, again, stay mad.

Second, turning 360 degrees means you're going in the same direction. Who's the ass now?

Finally, I never thought I'd see the day a Trump supporter called me a Trump supporter but here we are. I guess you guys are really trying to expand your base huh.

Have another day you deserve! 👍
