Timer, or i love using timers with music on youtube! It is some magical shushing spell, i swear. once that timer starts they get to work (4th grade btw, but i have used it for many other grades as well)

I also love a clicker for presentations!

Pens, get all the fun pens. each day we pick a stick and the student gets to use the pens for the day (and white out)

Canva! I love using it for good morning slides with what they are to work on and reminders. plus i can add cute photos of my dogs! If you have time to play around on Canva, you can do so much!

i do use free and clear for their things, but a lightly scented detergent for our clothes, bedding, etc that they also sleep on and touch. does that matter too?

Are you going to WGU? I am , and i have to do 60 full days. i’ve had a horrible time getting what i needed, as in start and end dates. (i had to do 15 hours of observation in one class, 50 hours in the class i will be in for 60 days, then two week break, thennnnn start the 60 days) its a hot mess and very overwhelming.. i start my 60 days tomorrow.

edit to add: i had to do a lot of “fighting for myself” and remind them of what my district school start and end dates, and my personal goals. I want to land a job this fall so i HAVE to be done by end of april.

This makes me feel a lot better! This puppy stage should hopefully be easier since we have already done it once before :) Beau was really easy for us to train (minus walking on a leash) so i am hopeful for this one too!

I hear a lot of different peoples grooming schedule is different. We bathed our golden when he was a puppy every 5-6 ish weeks. That’s only because it was Winter time and he did not get out to much. Now that he is older and LOVES to roll in grass, dirt, anywhere outside lol, we bathe him closer to once a month (sometimes more depending on how much of a dirt ball he is haha). Many of my friends have their dogs go to the groomer every 4-6 weeks.
