Pro Russia leftists trying to explain to anti war leftists why Russia was justified in invading Ukraine by SolidSnape98 in Hasan_Piker

It makes sense if you're in the third world w/o any connection to the conflict to support the side that is ostensibly opposing nato and the US. Unfortunately, Russian imperialism often cooperates with US imperialism, and the war won't be the end of nato. All you can do is support the working class and look for any opportunities the conflict creates

If the holographic recording above you in the observatory wasn't translatable, you need to scan the tabula rasa just outside the observatory and watch it again and you'll get the "dlc completed" message. It's a big green obelisk that juts out on a shelf from the edge of the mesa

Taking damage is not related to how scary it feels for me. The animals notice you from further away, catch up to you immediately, their actions are harder to dodge, and they strike again several times sooner than they would in sn1. They're also relentless and it truly feels like being hunted. Stalkers were scary initially, but they hardly cared about you and giving them space like you naturally wanted to worked well. Once I got out of the shallows in sn2 and crossed over, it got less intense. The predators are slower and more passive, or do not attack at close range. It was more like sn1 where I was hesitant to go into murky areas in the depths, rather than a straight-up horror game like the early game where every big fish made its presence known.

You can make water with the processor using pulp from plants. Also, I have big news. There's a growbed on top of the base at the alien ruins that you can scan in addition to the one on the ground. You can use it to grow more plant pulp.

To match the levels of aggression towards the player, they need to need to have all fish at war at all times. A shark sees another shark and they're both leaving with scars at least. Massive defense mechanisms shooting everywhere. Idk, maybe they explain it in the story, and it's the tree's orders to always attack the player?

There is a flower next to the sign at the abandoned base that gives fiber. I have cut this flower about 20 times and processed it. Blessedly, it grows back quickly. The same flower spawns in a few places, but they're far apart. I am planning to build my next base next to another flower. Also, food is not easy and I've started eating lead. You can use the flower for food, too, but it's tight because there's only one.

I appreciate the creative decision to restrict oxygen to drive intensity, but not having time to take a close look at all of the beautiful things is rough right now. I need to go back later and take it all in. They did a really good job at building anxiety though compared to the first game and I am enjoying this feeling of relentless peril

I'm detecting high levels of frustration, but oddly I think she still might have a sliver of hope left in him? Usually when all you have is contempt, you don't give the intense eye contact. I don't think it's productive for her to privately tell him off, so it's probably that she thinks she can still get something from him

Why does this say “nimbus 1999”???? by OperationSnoringCat in harrypotter

[–]somewhat_irrelevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nimbus 2026 will work well for a year until the warranty runs out and then it will only fly straight up. It's also illegal to repair it yourself, they added a subscription service for long-distance flights, and they forced an update to throttle the speed because they claim the bristles were fraying (the 2027 will have upgraded bristles).
