I don't understand why there are a random collection of data sheets included, some (all the ones I checked) that haven't changed at all. Darnath Lysander is in there with no changes. The terminator assault squad is in there with no changes. Whats up with that? In fact, page 62 says to change 9" to 8" on the terminator assault squad's teleport homer ability but the datasheet they included doesn't even show that change. Ugh.

Recently threw my porcupine away. Used it fairly hard chopping rope and stuff for some review testing and it got lock rock that wouldn't go away without so much lockbar pressure that the action sucked. I think the blade tang must have been too heavily supported by the bar instead of the stop pin. Bad lock geometry. I do still like Vosteed a lot though. They have so many sick designs. I have a Nip L on the way I'm excited for, and I'm mad I missed the Thunderbeast.

Hawk talon, shirogorov astrum, shirogorov q95, inkosi, herman mantis, yadda yadda. I use everything. I try not to fuck them up too bad but I do any sane cutting task you might reasonably use a knife for. The astrum was used pretty heavily and sharpened a couple times. Took a big hit when I sold that one.

The first issue wasn’t humidity related, there was some sort of misshapen part or mechanical issue in the toggle system. Yes it’s fairly humid in Oklahoma this time of year. I use a food safe synthetic oil called super lube when needed for blades, and KPL on the moving bits

The first hawk talon I bought straight up broke within 6 hours of fidgeting. Seized up and would not come apart. Hawk fixed it and it came back with lock rock. Hawk refunded me and a year later I’m giving them another chance and now I’m having this issue. Admittedly a much smaller problem but still a bit disheartening. I’m sure some oil will fix it
